Selena Gomez is ready to take the world by storm. The singer announced that she'll be heading out on a 56-city world tour later this year in support of her as-yet-untitled upcoming album.

The tour kicks off in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on August 14 and is set to wrap up in St. Louis, Missouri, on November 27. She'll head to Europe after eight dates in the Great White North and return to kick off the U.S. leg of the tour in Washington, D.C., on October 10.

The multi-platinum sellling singer and actress will hit major markets, including Los Angeles, Chicago and Boston.

"I couldn't be more excited to tour again but this time around the world," said Selena. "This has been such an interesting few months. My music has grown and I want my fans to see a new side of me. Can't wait to see y'all on the road!"

Tickets for Selena's shows go on pre-sale April 17 at 10 a.m., and will be available to the public beginning April 20 via

Last week Selena debuted the first single from her new album, "Come & Get It," which many thought was about ex-Justin Bieber. She performed the song Sunday night at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards.

Tuesday she'll make a guest appearance on Ellen and perform on Dancing With The Stars.
