Reports out of Great Britain are now saying that a full-fledged Led Zeppelin reunion is moving forward; and lead singer Robert Plant, who originally held out from any involvement with his former bandmates, has had a change of heart.

Getting poll results. Please wait...

British newspaper The Sun reports that guitarist Jimmy Page, bassist John Paul Jones and drummer Jason Bonham (son of Zep's late great skinsman John) have been rehearsing with singers to fill the void left by Plant, who would not commit to the trio's reunion plans.

News that an as yet unnamed famous American singer had been standing in for Plant and was the front-runner to sing with the band on tour reached Plant, who then had a change of heart.

A source told The Sun, "He realized the band were serious about doing it without him, it made him think long and hard," and that, "he couldn't face the thought of not being involved."

The band is currently finalizing plans for a summer 2009 tour and the band is "over the moon" with excitement and "can't wait to get on the road."
