Don't expect Rihanna to apologize for reuniting with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in the studio anytime soon. The bajan beauty reveals in a new interview and sizzling photoshoot for ELLE magazine's May 2012 issue that she doesn't care what people think about her decisions.

It's been three years since Brown assaulted the singer on the night before the 2009 Grammy Awards, and her recent collaboration with the rapper on her single "Birthday Cake" caused quite a stir.

"The bottom line is that everyone thinks differently. It's very hard for me to accept, but I get it," she says. "People end up wasting their time on the blogs or whatever, ranting away, and that's all right.

"Because tomorrow I'm still going to be the same person. I'm still going to do what I want to do."

The sexy singer also opens up about her breakup with Brown in the new issue, saying she was embarrassed at first, but the public knowing all the details made her stronger.

"It gave me guns. I was like, well, f---. They know more about me than I want them to know. It's embarrassing," she explains.

"But that was my opening," she adds. "That was my liberation, my moment of bring it…

"Now you know that, so you can say what you want about it. I don't have anything to hide."
