Recap: 'Dancing With The Stars' Semi-Final Shocker! Fan Favorite Is Eliminated!
Emmy Award winning director and choreographer Kenny Ortega made his “Dancing With The Stars” debut as a guest judge on American Icons Night tonight. The semi-finals began as the five remaining couples tried to rise to the challenge of performing two different routines to music by legendary and modern American Icons. One couple faced elimination leaving only four couples to move to the Finals. “Macy's Stars of Dance” also returned for a third installment, choreographed by Emmy Award-winning Choreographer Derek Hough and Christopher Scott from “So You Think You Can Dance.” Charlie and Sharna were shockingly eliminated this week, with all three Olympians finding themselves in the bottom three.

Dance: Fox Trot
Scores: 10, 10, 10, 10 = 40
Charlie looked to his idol, Olympic champion Scott Hamilton for advice. He told him to be versatile. With the fox trot, Charlie truly showed his versatility. Charlie's showmanship was bar none. The judges loved his performance, giving Charlie a standing ovation. Said Kenny Ortega, "Wow! Indescribably delightful!" Bruno echoed his sentiments, "Flair, sophistication and pizzazz!" Carrie Ann couldn't contain her excitement by saying, "I loved it!" Finally Len rounded out the comments by remarking, "Just right tonight Charlie White!"

After a lackluster Samba, Kenny Ortega said the dance was, "clean, connected, but lacking funk." Bruno said, "The fun was there but hit that beat!" Carrie Ann said, "I want to live in Charlie's world."
