Previously unseen photos of late screen icon Marilyn Monroe enjoying a celebrity party at the start of her career are to go under the hammer at auction.
The 10 images depict the Some Like It Hot beauty at legendary bandleader Ray Anthony's launch for the hit song Marilyn in San Diego, California in 1952.
The pictures, which were taken by sound engineer and amateur photographer Lani Carlson, show Monroe in a pink cocktail dress posing in front of guests and also exiting a helicopter.
The collection is expected to fetch $96,000 when it is sold at Bonhams' Entertainment Memorabilia auction in Los Angeles on December 14th.
