Pierce Brosnan Distracts Himself With Work While Mourning Daughter's Death
Just days after losing his daughter to cancer, Pierce Brosnan was back at work filming "November Man" in southeastern Europe.
The actor revealed on Monday that his 42-year-old daughter Charlotte Brosnan died on Friday after a three-year battle with ovarian cancer. She succumbed to the same disease that killed her mother, Australian actress Cassandra Harris, in 1991.
Charlotte was Harris' daughter from a previous marriage, but Brosnan adopted her and her brother Christopher after their father's death in 1986.
Instead of taking time off following Charlotte's death, Pierce was on set in Belgrade, Serbia, on Tuesday.
His co-star Olga Kurylenko wrote about her first day on set of the thriller. She tweeted: "Survived stunt driving and explosions today next to ex mr James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) Tomorrow I'm the one driving! Watch out!!!"
The film is based on the novel "There Are No Spies" by Bill Granger. It centers on an ex-CIA operative who finds himself pitted against a former protege.
