People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has taken aim at supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio for dying her puppy's fur pink and purple.
After the Victoria's Secret model was spotted out and about with her pampered pooch, PETA came forward about the dangers of coloring an animals' fur.
"What most people don't know is that dyeing a companion animal's fur can cause the animal stress and can lead to complications or allergic reactions that endanger the animal's health," a PETA spokesperson told X17online.com. "Our dogs and cats love us regardless of how we look; why not extend the same kindness to them?"
Perhaps the model did it for her children? She has a three-year-old daughter named Anja, and a two-month-old son named Noah.
A week ago, "Harry Potter" star Emma Watson also came under fire for walking a friend's dog whose coat was dyed pink.
