Nicole Scherzinger thinks her goody two shoes attitude has prevented her from achieving the success of some of her peers. In fact, she believes she's too "classy" to compete for a Grammy, Oscar or Tony award.

The former Pussycat Dolls star has never appeared in a Broadway play and has only starred in two films; however, she thinks her good girl image has kept her from obtaining certain credibility in the showbiz industry.

She told British newspaper The Independent, "I come from the most religious family. My grandfather is a priest. And if they support me in all this, and they do, then I'm OK. I'm being sassy and classy; I'm having fun.

"I'm not coming from a dark place. To be honest with you, I sometimes wish I were more slutty. I'd probably be a lot more successful if I were.
"This is such a tough industry, you know. To make it, you really have to sell your soul to the devil... That's probably why I haven't quite reached the top of my mountain. I mean, where's my Tony Award, my Grammy, my Oscar? Why don't I have any of those things yet?"

Meanwhile, stars such as Rihanna, who lets it all hang out, received a Grammy for "Best Short Form Music Video" in 2013 for her video "We Found Love" featuring Calvin Harris. On the other hand, former "American Idol" star Jennifer Hudson won an Oscar for "Dreamgirls" and she isn't known for showing a lot of skin.
