A director getting the optimum performance out of an actor is not unlike a coach getting a great performance out of an athlete. One has to use the right guy in the right scene with expert timing.

This is going to cover two episodes of "The Bachelorette", and each episode is two hours, so in the interest of not making this thing too long, we'll just hit the highest of highs and lowest of lows'Bachelorette' Recap: A Nice Butt In Spandex, A Girlfriend Back Home & More

Thirteen men remain for Jillian to choose from on "The Bachelorette," and all 13 packed their bags to fly out to Vancouver to see how Jillian lives. Based on what we have seen,
In the wake of the current brain-draining drive to remake just about everything Hollywood has ever had to offer, there are some films that are so sacred they should never be touched.
On the latest episode of The Bachelorette, Ed from Chicago, a guy who seems pretty sane and normal, went on a helicopter ride in which they landed on a building and then zip lined down from it.
After dumping half of the men with little to no information to go on in episode one, Jillian of "The Bachelorette" was left with 20 more fellas, and whether they were break-dance instructors

Jillian, one of the finalists from the previous season of The Bachelor, is back in the new season of The Bachelorette.
The men here at Starpulse just got caught up on HBO's Big Love, and we were saddened by one simple fact: polygamy does not appear to be all it's cracked up to be.

Caddyshack isn't that good, and it's not very funny. If you're 9 out of 10 red blooded American men, that last sentence just infuriated you like I just made slanderous remarks about your grandmother.
We've waited 17 years for a full length album of new Guns N' Roses material, and this stretch of time was made all the more ridiculous after all the delays, firings, and apparent breakdowns
There have been 11 installments in the Friday the 13th saga (parts one through eight, Jason X, Jason VS Freddy, and Jason Goes to Hell), and all that we really have learned
The idea of professional wrestling has always been a silly one: Steroid fueled morons pretend to hurt one another and in between there are feuds, story lines,

Starpulse survived ABC's "I Survived a Japanese Game Show," but would rather have just watched the game show and saved the drama for your momma.
There are lots of bizarre, random band names in the history of rock and roll, like the Strawberry Alarm Clock, the Smashing Pumpkins, and the Electric Prunes,
In today's TV climate, several shows don't even bother with theme songs (Lost, for example). Or the songs are barely a blip on the screen (Grey's Anatomy). That wasn't the case 20 years ago.

To clarify what the "Rock Era" means, there will be no Etta James, Billie Holiday, or Patsy Cline on this list. Basically, it contains the most moving and powerful songs with female vocalists from the 1960s to the present. Now, before you go calling us guys sexist, it's just a simple fact that men, on average, have less female-centered albums in their collections.

In Treatment, the powerful HBO series, stars Gabriel Byrne as Dr. Paul Westin, a middle-aged therapist who runs a practice out of his home, and it's probably the best thing on television. Although the series is nearing the end of its first season, it's something you should watch on demand, next season, or if and when there is a DVD release.
Some of these songs have some good moments but just go on a little too long. Some of them have zero good moments, and then go on a little too long. What they all have in common is that they're too freaking long. Any of these guys ever hear of trimming the fat? Less is more? Your song is too damn long? Any of that ringing a bell, you bloated, self-indulgent rockers?
"Gone Country," a show in which mostly washed-up singers are resurrected as country stars, is the first show, to my knowledge, on CMT that I've watched in its entirety. I wouldn't call myself a country fan by any means, and at first glance this didn't seem like an appealing show at all. That was until I saw the lineup of goof balls that they had enlisted:
Here's part two of the best songs about girls with every letter of the alphabet, regardless of whether or not the subject of the song is the same as the title. There were two considerations in making the list: How good the song is versus how cool the chick sounds. See A to M here, and check out N to Z:
