Jay Leno Cancels Appearance At Gun Show After Criticism
Jay Leno has scrapped an appearance at an upcoming trade show in response to a petition from an anti-gun group.

The former "Tonight Show" host was scheduled to emcee the annual Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT) in Las Vegas in January. However, he canceled on Wednesday after members of the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence accused him of "helping to legitimize a crass commercialism which values profit over human lives."

The coalition launched a petition urging Leno to bow out of the show, noting that the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) is hosting the event. The organiza...

'Scandal's' Jasika Nicole Talks Kim: 'She's Always At Level Ten'
She's the woman that Huck can't let go of, no matter how hard she tries to make him. The character of Kim has been breaking Huck's heart (and the audience's) since her first appearance on Scandal way back in season two, and for that we can thank actress Jasika Nicole, who brings her to life.

We had the opportunity to talk to Jasika last week about what it's like to play the emotionally wound up Kim (not easy), plus discuss how she was able to move forward from her best-known role as Astrid Farnsworth on Fringe.

"I did [my] first episode [of Scandal] and it was kind of like a dream," she e...

'The Middle' Recap: Thanksgiving For Losers

November 20th, 2014 10:40am EST
The Middle - Thanksgiving VI
This may have been the most depressing episode of the “The Middle” ever. That is no small feat for a show that has made no effort to hide the Heck family’s penny-pinching reality and daily stresses. Usually each episode will end on an at least relatively positive note to leaven that reality. “Thanksgiving VI” was not depressing because it forewent that positive ending. It was there, but it felt more momentary than ever before. The root causes of the doldrums were still taking their toll.

The good news is that despite how thorough all the Hecks’ problems are, they probably are not part...

'Law & Order SVU': Ray Rice Themed Episode: No More

'Law & Order SVU' Recap: Ray Rice Themed Episode: No More
Has everyone recovered from last week’s “Chicago Crossover” episodes? I hope so because it’s back to “SVU’s” regularly scheduled headline-swiping episodes.

In “SVU’s” 9th episode “Spousal Privilege,” the detectives tackle (no pun intended) a pro-footballer that may be abusing his girlfriend. The whole episode is pretty vague in terms of how often the abuse occurs, mainly because the baby mama Paula (Meagan Good) refuses to admit it’s happening, until she doesn’t have a choice.

An online image-infused bulletin board, you know the one that posted the celebs leaked nude pics, posted security...

'Arrow': 10 Heart-Wrenching Moments From 'Draw Back Your Bow'

Arrow
Do we have an overarching storyline for this season of "Arrow" yet? Season one was Robert Queen's little black book and the Dark Archer, while season two was Slade Wilson's revenge. Season three seems like it'll hinge on Sara's murder in the same way, except that story seems to have faltered recently.

Roy's innocent (well, innocent of Sara's murder, anyway), and the case has gone cold. We're closing in on the season's halfway point- things should hopefully pick up soon, and we'll see just what "Arrow" has planned for the long haul.

But for now, a villain-of-the-week story like "Draw Back...

'American Horror Story: Freak Show': Rundown On 'Test Of Strength'

'American Horror Story: Freak Show' Episode 7 Recap: Rundown On
“Test of Strength” was a more emotional episode than we’re used to from American Horror Story. The show is always all about the scares and the gross out scenes, but rarely do they attempt to uncover the characters’ more emotional side. That is the power of this episode. There’s still plenty of disgusting imagery and shockers, but there’s also character development.

Characters Worth Remembering

Morris the Artist may never return, but it’s certainly possible. After what he did to Penny, tattooing her face beyond all recognition at her father’s behest, it’d be a shame if he didn’t get some g...

Taylor Swift Is Unstoppable On Billboard 200: This Week In Music
Face it folks, Taylor Swift is a juggernaut – the gift that keeps on giving generously to the music industry after a dismal sales year. Taylor Swift may not be the ‘second coming,’ but she’s definitely something. 1989 spends its third week atop the Billboard 200 Albums chart, selling a respectable 312,000 copies. If you’re keeping score, that means that Swift’s 1989 sits at two million copies sold in just three weeks.

Foo Fighters couldn’t beat Ms. Swift and didn’t even come that close. Foo Fighters sold soundly, moving 190,000 copies of Sonic Highways, good for a #2 bow. Pink Floyd...
