The first trailer for James Franco's adaptation of William Faulkner's "As I Lay Dying" has arrived, and the swirling, punctuated scenes may explain why it has taken 80 years for someone to attempt to adapt the classic story.

Faulkner's story follows the death of Addie Bundren and her family's odyssey to honor her wish of burying her in the town of Jefferson, Mississippi. A bearded Chris Pine (wearing a snazzy orange tie) attended the "Star Trek Into Darkness" Los Angeles premiere in Hollywood, Calif., on Tuesday.

Pine plays Captain Kirk in the sequel to J.J. Abrams' 2009 Star Trek movie. Last month, the actor confessed that he wasn't a "Star Trek" fan growing up.

He told Britain's Esquire magazine: "(Making) Star Trek scared me a lot. It terrified me, really. Because of the scale, the responsibility, the fact that it was this iconic character. It was the bigger challenge. So I had to take it."

Arnold Schwarzenegger could be getting another acting gig, this time in a remake of a b-movie classic.

According to Variety, Arnold is in talks to star in a remake of the Troma classic Toxic Avenger, about a janitor weakling who falls into a vat of toxic waste and becomes a deformed superhuman.

Hot Tub Time Machine director Steve Pink is heading up the remake. It is currently rumored that Arnold will not star as the titular character. Lionsgate Releases First Official 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire' Poster

The Hunger Games Catching Fire
As fans eagerly wait for "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" to hit theaters next fall, Lionsgate has released the first official poster from the film.

The image features Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen standing on top of a cliff with a tagline pulled directly from author Suzanne Collins' book:  "The sun persists on rising, so I make myself stand."
