After being quizzed about his marriage to Amy Grant, country star Vince Gill confronted members of the controversial Westboro Baptist Church over the weekend.

The group was protesting outside his concert in Kansas City, Missouri, on Sunday when they filmed the singer taking issue with their stance.

Gill went outside to speak to the church members, and one of them asked:  "What in the world are you doing out here?"
He fired back, "I came out to see what hate looks like."

After leaving the Church of Scientology, Leah Remini was forced to cut ties with several friends. In July, the former "King Of Queens" star announced she was quitting the controversial organization after being a member for nearly 30 years.

The actress revealed she had become uncomfortable with some of the church's practices and told Ellen DeGeneres on Monday that one of the worst parts about the split was losing some of her life-long friends.

Earlier this month, Leah Remini left the Church of Scientology after being a member for over 30 years. She reportedly was butting heads with leader David Miscavige and was becoming increasingly uncomfortable with some of the church's practices.

The actress has since come forward to explain her decision to leave, insisting she should have been able to question issues without fear of reprisal. She also appears to have chosen her friends and family over the church.

She told, "We stand united, my family and I, and I think that says a lot about who we are, and what we're about."

The actress has decided to end her 30-year relationship with the church over a disagreement with church head David Miscavige after questioning several of the church's strict policies.
