Bean Chats About 'Rollercoaster,' Her Inspirations And New Music
Singer-songwriter Bean is on pace for a breakout year and continues to prove she's an artist to watch. The 23-year-old was featured on the 2014 High School Nation Tour, opened for Colbie Caillat and Austin Mahone and found a home for her catchy songs in commercials for Mitsubishi, Lay's and Bud Light Lime. I had the opportunity to speak with the "Rollercoaster" singer, whose currently wrapping up the iHeartRadio On The Rise Tour, about her musical journey, inspirations and upcoming album.

How did you get your start in music?

My start was kind of an accident more than anything. I was a sop...

'Pawn Stars': Rick Harrison On TV Fame, Business Sense And Givin
On History's Pawn Stars, you know Rick Harrison as the no-nonsense, all-knowing owner of Las Vegas' Gold and Silver Pawn Shop, who can appraise an antique gun one moment and deal for a piece of movie memorabilia the next. That's not a character: Rick is just as smart and shrewd as he appears on TV - not to mention tremendously funny and doing plenty of good deeds.

We had the opportunity to chat with Rick at last week's SEMA Show to discuss what it's like to be a reality television star, how that impacts running his actual business, and his work with the Epilepsy Foundation.

Pawn Stars, no...

Terry Fator Talks Sustaining Five Years As A Las Vegas Success
In May, Las Vegas headliner Terry Fator gave us a preview of his DVD, Terry Fator: Live in Concert. Last week, we had the opportunity to visit him backstage before his live show at The Mirage Hotel & Casino to discuss exactly what goes into Terry and his cast of puppet "friends" entertaining thousands of fans every night.

You might remember Terry as the winner of season two of America's Got Talent, but that's a distant memory now. Unlike many performers, he has been able to establish a successful identity completely separate from reality television. What does he think allowed him to do wha...

'Robot Chicken' Remains Awesomely Irreverant

Interview: 'Robot Chicken' Remains Awesomely Irreverant
Everytime I interview the 'Robot Chicken' cast, I wonder if there's ever anything new I can ask them and if there's anything new they can do, idea wise. Considering they've desecrated almost everything in our 80s childhood from Disney to Nancy Drew to Hasbro since 2005, is there REALLY anything else they can mock, satirize or defecate upon? According to 'Robot Chicken' writer, Breckin Myer, yes. Yes, there is. As long as TV continues to release new shows, companies release new toys and studios release new films like 'Guardians of the Galaxy' they will always, ALWAYS have new stuff. So, eff ...

Jeff Eastin Previews The Final Season Of 'White Collar'
New York's classiest crime show is about to come to an end. Tonight is the premiere of White Collar, kicking off the USA hit's sixth and final season. To help us say goodbye to Neal Caffrey, Peter Burke and the gang, we recruited creator and showrunner Jeff Eastin, who spoke with us about the decision to end the series and how things have changed since its premiere five years ago.

What made this the right time to wrap things up? "You can probably guess it was never the creator's idea to wind it down," he laughed. "For USA, I've got another show on their network, and I think the network's s...

TNT's 'The Librarians' Is Your Next Guilty Pleasure!

November 5th, 2014 8:08pm EST
TNT - The Librarians
I am a major fan of the original made-for-TV movie series, 'The Librarian' including a post-'ER' Noah Wyle's surprising involvement and portrayal of the multi-degree nerdy slacker, Flynn. The 'Librarians' is a guilty pleasure, but it's a full-hearted pleasure. So, when I heard TNT planned on turning it into a series, OF COURSE I wanted to interview the cast at NYCC.

About the Show
The 'Librarians,' produced by Dean Devlin ('Leverage') and John Rogers ('Transformers'), surrounds an organization hidden beneath the Metropolitan Library dedicated to protecting the world from mystical artifacts...

Interview: SyFy's 'Bitten' Cast Bites Into the Big Apple

SyFy's 'Bitten' Cast Bites Into the Big Apple
Interviewing the cast of SyFy's 'Bitten' was one of my New York Comic Con highlights. I loved Kelley Armstrong's original novel 'Bitten,' which the TV show surrounds. The first season surrounds fledgling werewolf Elena (Laura Vandervoort) who avoids both the pack that 'raised' her and her longtime pack lover, Clay (Greyston Holt). Although bitten a decade ago, Elena prefers a human existence with her human lover, Philip, until a series of murders near her pack's home calls her back. The rest of the season features Elena's relationships with her fellow pack members including confidant Logan ...

Interviewing 'I Am Santa Claus's' Mick Foley
I leapt for joy when the opportunity to interview WWE wrestler and subject of Tommy Avallone's documentary "I Am Santa Claus" arrived. "I Am Santa Claus" is the latest film underneath the "Morgan Spurlock Presents" label. It looks at the lives of five Department Store Santas the other 364 days of the year. Its primary subjects include crusty Santa Russell, Bear-ish Santa Jim, Christmas enthusiast Mick Foley, feuding Santa Nicholas (president of the Order of Real Bearded Santas), and singer Santa Bob.

Don't let the tag line "Whose lap is your child sitting on" fool you. The documentary was ...

Sadie Calvano Talks 'Mom' Season 2, Family And Charity
CBS's Mom - a 2014 People's Choice Award Favorite New TV Comedy nominee - is back for its second season tonight, continuing the dysfunctional but well-meaning escapades of the Plunkett family. We recently caught up with Sadie Calvano, who plays Christy's (Anna Faris) daughter Violet, to ask her what laughs and lessons are coming in season two.

The new episodes don't pick up immediately after last season's surprisingly touching finale. "We ended last season with Violet giving away her baby," she explained. "In season two, you see Violet dealing with the ramifications of that decision. She's...

Michael Carbonaro Back For More Magic In Season 2 Of 'The Carbon
Just ahead of Halloween, Michael Carbonaro is here to once again be the most entertaining guy on the small screen. He's brought a whole new season of his hidden-camera magic series, The Carbonaro Effect, in which he uses his magic ability to surprise and delight ordinary folks in extraordinary ways.

We spoke to Michael on Monday about what makes The Carbonaro Effect come alive and his equally entertaining acting career - including that time he was on The Newsroom.

"I had a lot of fun seeing the way people react to real moments of magic when there's no magician around," he told us of the s...
