'Hunger Games' Leads Quiet Weekend At Box Office
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" has topped the weekend box office for the third consecutive weekend.

The third film in the popular franchise took home $21.6 million, bringing its domestic total to $257.7 million since its release in November. It scored $55 million in ticket sales on opening day.

The planned second sequel to J.J. Abrams' 2009 "Star Trek" reboot has been hit with a bit of turmoil as director Roberto Orci, who took over for Abrams when the latter left to helm "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," has quit the project.

Word is that Paramount Studio bosses and Orci disagreed over the direction of the script, which Orci co-wrote with Patrick McKay and J.D. Payne, according to Badass Digest.
