'Galavant's' Mallory Jansen Goes 'Completely Mad...Alena'
ABC's Galavant has livened up Sunday nights with its music, mayhem and medieval mischief, and things are only getting funnier. We checked in on Friday with actress Mallory Jansen, who portrays the lovely but oh so messed up Madalena, about what it's like for her to play a damsel in distress...when that damsel is also a crazy maniac.

"It's been completely amazing," she enthused. "I've only really just moved to the States a year ago, so it's been a whirlwind so far. To be involved in a project such as this straight off the bat is so amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better situation."

Aaron Stanford And Amanda Schull Team Up For '12 Monkeys'
SyFy's 12 Monkeys might be a nightmarish scenario, but it's also a TV fan's dream. Heading the cast of the time-travel thriller are favorite faces Aaron Stanford (Nikita's Seymour Birkhoff) and Amanda Schull (Suits' Katrina Bennett), alongside Noah Bean (Nikita's Ryan Fletcher), Kirk Acevedo (Fringe's Charlie Francis) and Emily Hampshire (Rookie Blue's Celery). Even if you don't like science-fiction, this one's a must-see just for the cast.

We checked in with Aaron and Amanda earlier this week to talk about how 12 Monkeys relates to the film versions, and what it was like for these two und...

'Animation Nerd' Eric Bauza Brings 'Puss In Boots' To Netflix
DreamWorks Animation is bringing another of its iconic characters to Netflix. Following the success of Turbo FAST and last month's All Hail King Julien, here comes The Adventures of Puss in Boots, with voiceover veteran Eric Bauza taking over for Antonio Banderas as the swashbuckling cat. We sat down with Eric earlier this month to chat about the new show - and that time he voiced a ninja on Dan Vs.

Eric previously stood in for Paul Giamatti on Turbo FAST, and he told us how thrilled he was to re-team with DreamWorks and several of the same production folks on this new project.

"DreamWork...

Interview: 'Jessabelle' Star Sarah Snook On Good Scripts

January 14th, 2015 12:20pm EST
Jessabelle
For someone so young, busy Australian actress Sarah Snook has made quite a name for herself here in the US. Currently in theaters fans can see Snook’s movie stealing role as a savvy Unmarried Mother in the Spierig Brothers new sci-fi flick "Predestination." (Michael Spierig himself compared Snook's acting ability to that of fellow Australian actress Cate Blanchett – and we agree!) And at home folks can catch some tasty layered work by Snook paying an ailing widow troubled by a scary spirit in the film "Jessabelle." Both films show the wide range of Snook’s talent and certainly make her ...

A.J. Cook Talks 'Criminal Minds': 'The Facade Is Going To Start
A.J. Cook previously gave us the rundown on season nine of CBS's Criminal Minds, and she was back to talk about tonight's episode, "The Forever People." It's an important episode for her character, Jennifer "J.J." Jareau, who finally has to face some of the emotions she's been repressing since she was kidnapped in the show's 200th episode last season.

"It's coming up on her year anniversary with the abduction in episode 200, and all that craziness that went down," she told us. "[J.J.]'s been suppressing and pushing down all these feelings and emotions for about a year. And you can only do ...

'All Hail King Julien' Brings 'Madagascar' Favorite To Netflix
After the big-screen success of The Penguins of Madagascar, DreamWorks is giving another character from the popular Madagascar film franchise his own spin-off - this one a TV series on Netflix.

All Hail King Julien brings back Danny Jacobs as the voice of King Julien, the larger than life lemur, as audiences will get to see what he was like before the movies and before the Central Park Zoo animals descended on Madagascar.

While Julien still has lovable Mort and right-hand man Maurice to keep him company, he's also joined by "special ops" expert Clover, voiced by India de Beaufort. We rece...

Matt Bomer And Tim DeKay Talk 'White Collar' Finale: 'Do Not Wal
Tonight's conclusion of White Collar means that we also have to bid farewell to one of TV's best duos: Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay.

In addition to making a dynamic team as con man Neal Caffrey and his FBI minder Peter Burke on the USA drama, they are also a fantastic partnership off-screen, showing what magic can be made when two hard-working actors come together to form one great unit.

We spoke to Matt and Tim on Monday to ask them why they think they've worked so well together - and what their own opinions were about White Collar's ultimate ending.

Naturally, hints about tonight's last ep...

Terry McDermott Talks Lotus Crush's Impending World Domination
Season three of The Voice was livened up by Terry McDermott, the Scottish rocker with the winning personality who started off the season, joined Team Blake, and ultimately came in as runner-up on the NBC show.

Having worked steadily since then, Terry has reunited with his band Lotus Crush for their second album, Rabbit Hole, which is set to make waves with audiences in the US and UK alike. While they may not take over the world, they're certainly poised to win over a large part of it.

We reconnected with Terry (pictured above center) last week to discuss why we should be excited about the...

Penn Badgley Talks 'PERIODS' And His Own Historical Significance
Gossip Girl, this is not. Penn Badgley, best known as Dan Humphrey on the upper-crust CW drama, has moved well on since that show ended two years ago and now he's cracking wise in PERIODS., the film that pokes fun at history and classic literature in every way possible.

Penn connected with us last week to give us his perspective on being a part of the unique short film series-turned-feature film, and his really epic thoughts on what he'd want his own place in history to be.

Like Willie Garson, Penn became part of the PERIODS. ensemble through a shared connection with co-creators Victor Qu...
