Benicio del Toro is the latest actor to join the Star Wars franchise. According to The Wrap, the Puerto Rican actor is negotiating to join the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VIII. It seems he's not a lock just yet- The Wrap reports that del Toro has been offered a major role in the sequel, but he's yet to officially say "yes." Still, it's Star Wars- who'd really say no?

At San Diego's 2015 Comic-Con, Carter revealed that fellow Backstreet Boy singer A.J. Mclean and 'N Sync's Joey Fatone would star in his new film "Dead 7."

Sony Pictures and Marvel have chosen Tom Holland to star in the next Spider-Man film. A relative newcomer, Holland won rave reviews for playing the title role in "Billy Elliot the Musical" on the West End.

Producer Amy Pascal said in a statement, "Sony, Marvel, Kevin [Feige] and I all knew that for Peter Parker, we had to find a vibrant, talented young actor capable of embodying. With Tom, we’ve found the perfect actor to bring Spider-Man’s story into the Marvel Cinematic Universe."

Hill has odds on all the leading debonair British actors up for the role once Daniel Craig's through. Idris Elba (5/2), Tom Hardy (4/1), Henry Cavill (5/1) and Michael Fassbender (7/1) are all in the running (not officially, but at least according to those placing Bond bets).
