October 3rd, 2012 12:56pm EDT
SOUTH PARK
South Park is set to take a crack at Honey Boo Boo in an all-new episode airing Wednesday night at 10pm on Comedy Central.

The Toddlers & Tiaras star goes to a pig farm to pick out a pig for its heart in the episode titled "Raising The Bar"; and Cartman gets himself a mobility scooter after he admits he's obese, deciding that it's his right to do so, claiming that "Lady Gaga and Adele are right" that our culture "celebrates anorexia."

But it may, in fact, be Kyle who gives Cartman the idea to get the scooter after a trip to "Wall-Mart," where they see two very obese people riding through ...

September 28th, 2012 5:26pm EDT
Patrick Stewart
Thespian Patrick Stewart showed off his comedy skills on U.S. TV on Wednesday night by pretending to be comedian and The Daily Show correspondent John Oliver for a news piece about the dispute between American football league officials and referees, which was resolved overnight.

The bald X-Men actor wore a black wig for the skit, during which he used Shakespearean language to report the latest news.

Stewart then revealed his true identity and joked he, "(Al) Pacino, (Meryl Streep) and Glenn Close and the incomparable Mandy Patinkin" had been drafted in as "replacement correspondents" afte...

Jeffrey Ross Attends Roseanne Barr's Roast Dressed As Joe Paterno

August 6th, 2012 9:09am EDT
Jeff Ross
There were many surprises at Comedy Central’s Roast of Roseanne -- including Jeffrey Ross dressed as Joe Paterno, Roseanne’s TV kids and a sweet confession by ex-husband Tom Arnold! Check out the highlights and politically incorrect jokes from this night of laughs.

Jane Lynch made for a fabulous Roastmaster last night at the Hollywood Palladium. The lanky ladette welcomed the audience to this “menopause-apalooza,” which would be the first of many “period” jokes of the night, including “original Becky” Alicia Goranson handing Carrie Fisher a tampon.

Lynch garnered many laughs by roasting R...

DirecTV And Viacom Breakup Drama Continues: Canceled Channels Include BET, VH1, MTV, Comedy Central and More!

July 11th, 2012 11:22pm EDT
‘Money Talks and BS Walks’ is the old adage that instantly comes to mind while learning about this DirecTV/Viacom beef. Seemingly, however, DirecTV is not bs-ing because they recently pulled several popular channels from their satellite service on Tuesday night. BET, Comedy Central, MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, and Spike are all gone and the plot continues to thicken, as the list of channels DirecTV threatens to shut down grows longer.

Apparently, while negotiating dollars and cents, the two powerhouses are at an impasse at the negotiating table and neither team is budging.

DirecTV claims it wa...

June 24th, 2012 5:55pm EDT
CELEBNAME
A Muslim convert who threatened the lives of the creators of comedy cartoon series South Park has been sentenced to serve more than 11 years behind bars.

Jesse Curtis Morton, who co-founded the now-defunct Revolution Muslim website, took aim at Trey Parker and Matt Stone after the TV comedy writers created an episode in which the prophet Muhammad was depicted as a man in a bear suit.

Morton's business partner and fellow Muslim convert, Zachary Chesser, received a 25-year sentence in February after he was found guilty of terrorist activity against the U.S. in Somalia.

A lawyer for 33-year...

'Futurama' Star Billy West Previews Season 7

June 20th, 2012 11:58am EDT
Billy West
Tonight, Comedy Central's Futurama returns for another hilarious season - and at the center of one of TV's best animated series is voice-acting legend Billy West, who recently chatted with me about voicing three of the show's main characters as well as countless more in the year 3000.

Like his co-star Maurice LaMarche, West voices multiple characters on Futurama. Not only does he lend his talent to main character Philip J. Fry, he's also behind Professor Hubert Farnsworth, Dr. Zoidberg, the insufferable Zapp Brannigan and numerous others. And like LaMarche, his Futurama roles are more rece...

'Futurama' Season 7 Premiere Advance Review: Is Bender The Father?

June 13th, 2012 12:00pm EDT
Futurama
Next Wednesday, Futurama returns with a fantastic season premiere - and Bender hears a phrase now made famous by Maury Povich. Here's an early look ahead. SPOILER ALERT!

In "The Bots and the Bees," everyone's favorite robot (voiced by John DiMaggio) hooks up with the new Planet Express drink machine, Bev (guest voice of Wanda Sykes) - and the result is a baby Bender!

Understandably, Bender doesn't take well to fatherhood, but once Bev departs, he has no choice but to raise little Ben himself. This means that he teaches the young robot to steal, loot and rob a bank. It's Bender at his cl...

Kurt Metzger Talks Season 3 Of 'Ugly Americans'

March 14th, 2012 11:15am EDT
Kurt Metzger
On Comedy Central's Ugly Americans, Kurt Metzger plays an unemployed zombie who once had relations with a toaster. That should clue you in to his sense of humor.

The Last Comic Standing alum provides the voice for Randall Skeffington, who became a member of the undead to (no surprise) attract a girl, only to find out she'd moved on to warlocks.

He's unemployed, has too much time on his hands, and still has issues with his parents. He's one of the many quirky residents of an alternate-reality New York City that's the backdrop for Ugly Americans, which begins its new season tonight at 10:30...
