SUNDAY:

ABC is essentially playing it safe, and keeping Sunday Night intact. American Crime will swap for Resurrection at midseason. Resurrection was a buzzy drama that started seeing a ratings decline. Not waiting till midseason is probably a smart move. You don’t want to lose any more audience. It’s not a winning strategy, but ABC just doesn’t want to be in last place.

Shakira is has announced that she won't be back for "The Voice" next season. The Columbian singer has served as a judge and mentor on the series for two seasons and won't return for the seventh.

She told Synergistic Productions, Inc. that while she had a "blast" on the show, she wants to focus on her music and being a mom to her son Milan.

'Constantine' Is The Most Promising Of NBC's New Offerings
NBC just released its fall 2014 lineup, and the most interesting new show by far is "Constantine." The series is based on a DC Comics character, John Constantine, a con-man-turned-occult-detective who is reluctantly thurst into a battle against dark forces.

Zoe Saldana didn't watch the original "Rosemary's Baby" prior to making a reboot of the classic horror film. The actress didn't want to be influenced by Mia Farrow's performance while making the NBC adaptation.

She told the New York Daily News: "Like everybody else, I'm a fan of the original. But I haven't seen it in years and I didn't want it to color my performance. I didn't want to copy what Mia did. I wanted to do it my way, according to my age and the time and generation I belong to."

'Community' Creator, Stars React To Show's Cancellation
After five seasons and low ratings, NBC canceled "Community," a move that broke the hearts of many fans who hoped the network would greenlight one final season to wrap things up.

The show was set at a local junior college and featured a host of quirky characters, including a disbarred lawyer and Christian single mother. Creator Dan Harmon thanked his colleagues and fans for being part of the show.
