Did 'Big Brother' Just Turn X-Rated?

Big Brother Season 17 is shaping up to be riddled with controversy early. The latest rumor involves masturbation, but that's minor compared to what alleged sickening act happened next, citing a Daily Beast report.

The CBS reality TV show is often rife with sexism, misogyny, racism; you name it. But this lewd act -- presuming that's what it was -- takes the honors, albeit infamously. Fasten your seatbelts; there's turbulence ahead.

The episode unfolded last week that showed Jeff Weldon and Julia Nolan (Liz's twin) in bed together. Julia, with light blockers on, had her back to Jeff. Meanwh...

'Big Brother' 17 Cast Never Stops Scheming

7/10/2015 8:45am EDT
BB17
Womp womp. A major twin is ruined. A huge character is evicted. Boring takeovers fail terribly. And yet, BB17’s potential never ends. This is a cast that never stops scheming. They’re all incredibly intelligent, belligerent, and fun. It’s a shame this season is a twist-filled romp fest because this is one cast that doesn’t need any twists to be entertaining.

Here are the best and worst moments from the Week 2 Eviction:

Best: Twin Twist Failure

Another twist bites the dust. Da’Vonne outsmarts Big Brother by figuring out that Liz is a twin just two weeks into the game. Da’Vonne is an extre...

'Big Brother': Sometimes Bad Gameplay Can Be Pretty Entertaining

'Big Brother' Review: Best And Worst Moments Of Week 2 Veto
Pretty boring episode. After a week of nonstop gameplay and changing alliances, it’s a little disappointing when things stay the status quo. However, sometimes bad gameplay can be pretty entertaining. Shelli and Clay made some monumental mistakes, so their downfall could be massively fun. But none of that has happened yet. What we were left with was a meandering episode that spent far too much time on competitions and filler.

Here are the best and worst moments from the week 2 veto episode:

Worst: Underwhelming Twin Segment

What’s the point of the twin twist segment if nothing is going t...

'Big Brother' 17 Cast Continues To Shine

'Big Brother' Review: Best And Worst Moments From Week 2 Nominat
Seriously, how did we get so lucky with this cast? Last year, Battle of the Block was a burden on the season. It still is, but this time around people are more eager the play the game and play against each other. No more bandwagons. No more lying down and letting a majority alliance do whatever they want. Battle of the Block is still terrible, but BB17 proves that twists are irrelevant as long as the show has a strong cast. So far BB17 has proven to be the remedy to the past few terrible seasons.

Here are the best and worst moments of Week 2 Nominations/Battle of the Block:

Best: The Mess...

'Big Brother' Has First Live Eviction

'Big Brother' Review: Week 1 Live Eviction, Head Of Households,
Seems like Big Brother’s answer to fitting in the craziness of this week was to show virtually none of it. The biggest problem with Big Brother is that the formula of competitions, ceremonies, and other staples in every single episode can leave very little time for the most important parts of the game: strategy and socialization. Battle of the Block and 2 HOH competitions makes this even worse. Jackie got almost no screen time in a week where she was nominated. Instead of a double HOH, we could have had a bit of explanation of why certain things went down, from Jace’s own Shelltown bro deci...

'Big Brother' 17: Insanity Of The First Live Feed Week

Big Brother Review: Week One Veto, Ridiculous Fights, And Two Bi
The difference between the Big Brother live feeds and episodes are truly astounding. It’s one of the things that makes Big Brother stand out among the competitive reality show. The episodes are not only a short snap shot of hundreds of hours of live footage, but also a telling narrative of what the producers want us to think is important. BB17’s first week on the live feeds has been true insanity. There has been dozens of alliances, confrontations galore, and the rise and fall of a very significant character. But the trouble is that the first week of episodes can’t even begin to illustrate ...

'Big Brother' Recap: BB Finally Has A Decent Cast?

6/29/2015 9:49am EDT
Big Brother 17
Could it really be possible that we have a really good season of Big Brother after years of terrible casts and unexciting twists? BB17 is filled with likeable cast members, strategic players, and twists that so far haven’t stopped gameplay in its tracks. The episodes so far have been a great mix of entertaining interactions and serious gameplay. As with every Big Brother season, it’s too early to be this hopeful. But since BB15 and 16 were so terrible, it refreshing to have a season start off so well.

Here are the best and worst moments from the third episode:

Best: BB Fast Forward

'Big Brother' 17: Premiere Night 2

'Big Brother' Recap: Best And Worst Moments Of Premiere Night 2
And with that the game can finally begin. It’s always fun to see the houseguests first get into the house and try to find their bearings. There’s always a couple of people who come in swinging, ready to play hard as soon as they enter the front door. There’s always a couple of showmance-hungry women who declare that girls just totally hate them for, like, no reason at all! Some contestants try too hard for attention right away. And a BB season wouldn’t be complete without clueless contestants who have no idea what sort of show they signed up for.

However, Big Brother doesn’t truly start un...

'Big Brother' Premiere: Who Is The Most Likable?

6/25/2015 9:08am EDT
Big Brother
In the first of a two night premiere, Big Brother 17 is off to a running start. It introduces most of the stalwart Big Brother tropes, from contestants who try too hard to force a showmance to a plethora of unwanted twists. But it also only introduces half the cast, the only welcome rollover from Big Brother 16. The first episode illustrates the brimming potential of the cast and the overall season, as well as some iffy moments that could have us begging for the Big Brother days-of-yore.

Here are the best and worst moments of the first episode, plus a bonus likeability meter for the new ho...

Big Brother 17: Cast Superlatives - Meet The Cast

6/18/2015 8:47am EDT
Big Brother 17
One of the best parts of a new season of Big Brother is making snap judgements about the fresh cast members based on nothing more than a couple of interviews and their cast photo. First impressions mean so much in reality television, but none more than on Big Brother, a show that fairly often uses audience reactions to shape twists and hand out super powers. That’s why we sit in judgement over preview material and social media to discover who the next cast bigot will be (last year’s Caleb Reynolds was the “winner” of that honor) and guess who our favorites will be.

Based on CBS promo mater...
