5 Albums to Check Out : This Week In Music
Previously on 'Albums to Check Out' (June 24, 2017), Ed Sheeran’s sophomore album X served as the most highly anticipated album release. X had been generating buzz for a minute – several technically! Big 'guns' dropping new albums this week are Robin Thicke and Trey Songz.

Thicke and Songz both lay claim to a number one album on their résumés (Blurred Lines and Chapter V). That said, latest projects Paula and Trigga seem to have lower expectations. Regardless, both lead a list of five albums to check out July 1, 2014.

Lead singer of hard rock band Staind, Aaron Lewis stopped a concert mid-song to call out some handsy concert attendees who were getting out of control with a young crowdsurfer.

The girl, reportedly 15 was being groped by older men as she crowd surfed around the pit of the stage. Lewis spotted it and decided that it was his responsibility to step in.

CounterPoint kicked off on Friday afternoon in spectacular fashion. Or at least so we heard. 285 West nearly came to a complete standstill on our way to the festival and what should’ve been a 90 minute ride ended being more like a 3-hour expedition. Legendary classic rockers, Foreigner performed for a sold-out audience at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York on Saturday night, (Feb 22) and they were smokin' hot!

Before the concert, all the VIPs (including myself) were treated to an intimate up-close and personal acoustic set at the theatre’s smaller venue and bar, Garcia’s and got our photos taken with the band! They were fantastic! The sound system company, Bose was there to film and get some local fan reaction about the concert.

Beyonce kissed Madonna's adorable daughter Mercy James during a concert at the Barclays center in Brooklyn, New York, on Thursday night.

During the last stop of her "Mrs. Carter Show" world tour, the pop star planted on the 9-year-old girl's forehead, and her proud mama was there to capture the moment.
