October 25th, 2012 9:35am EDT
'Homeland'
The trends of the TV season are continuing in the ratings: In the fourth week, CBS was tops among total viewers, with 10.33 million. NBC, while third in total viewers with 7.49 million, managed to win the 18-49 demo for the fourth straight week, still its best showing in a decade.

NBC’s ‘Sunday Night Football’ was once again the top show of the week, attracting 17.47 million viewers. A resurgent ’60 Minutes’ finished second with 15.86 million, followed closely by a new episode of ‘The Big Bang Theory’ with 15.73 million sets of eyeballs. The Voice
Neither of them won Season 2 of NBC's The Voice, but rockers Tony Lucca and Justin Hopkins are doing very well for themselves regardless.

Lucca, who was Team Adam's finalist and ultimately the third-place finisher, was signed to Adam Levine's 222 Records recently. During an interview backstage before his concert in San Diego, he talked about how the deal came together.

"Once it was decided that Universal [Music Group, the label associated with The Voice and which holds options on all of its contestants after production] wasn’t going to move forward with some type of project with me and ...

TV Ratings: Excuse Me? NBC Wins Week In 18-49 Demo

October 4th, 2012 10:28am EDT
'Revolution'
We never thought we’d be saying this: NBC won premiere week. Well, among 18-49 year-old viewers, anyway. That’s the first time that’s happened in nearly a decade. Buoyed by the strong performance of ‘Sunday Night Football,’ as well as killer numbers from ‘The Voice’ and the new drama ‘Revolution,’ the Peacock Network was tops in younger viewers. In terms of total viewers, NBC averaged 8.2 million viewers, an increase of 9 percent over last year.

CBS, meanwhile, won the week in total viewers, as usual, with 10.7 million. Still, that’s a 12 percent dip from last year despite good performance...

TV Ratings: NBC On Solid Ground - For Now

September 28th, 2012 7:33am EDT
Claire Danes
Just before the big premiere week, NBC continues to dominate (surprisingly) thanks to strong performances from ‘The Voice,’ football on Sunday and new shows like ‘Go On’ (which placed 14th for the week with over 9 million viewers).

FOX did pretty well for the week too, led by the Emmy Awards (up from last year) with 13.26 million viewers. The network also scored with ‘The X Factor’ (11th and 12th place, respectively), as well as ‘Bones’ and a resurgent ‘Glee’ (20th place with 7.46 million viewers).

CBS, which will probably perk up next week, was led by ’60 Minutes’ and ‘Survivor: Philippi...

I knew it wasn’t going to be an ordinary day when I raced past Aziz Ansari sipping a coconut water on the escalator. He was dressed like a Target employee with a red polo and khakis, but he self-parked even though free valet parking was available to the celerbrity presenters. I was whisked past him and escorted downstairs underneath the Emmys stage at the Nokia Theatre to the official presenters lounge.

The Emergen-C Gift Lounge Backstage at The Nokia Theatre in Celebration of the 64th Primetime Emmy® Award occurred on Saturday and Sunday giving presenters an opportunity to check out th...
