Lady Gaga & Fiance Take Ice Plunge For Charity
Lady Gaga helped the Special Olympics raise more than $1 million over the weekend by jumping into a lake in Michigan. The pop star participated in the 2015 Chicago Polar Plunge Sunday morning with fiance Taylor Kinney alongside the actor's "Chicago Fire" co-stars.

"The Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon and actor Vince Vaughn also took the plunge.

Donald Trump picked Leeza Gibbons over Geraldo Rivera as the winner of "Celebrity Apprentice" on Monday night. The seventh season live finale was held at the Trump Tower in New York City.

Television personality and best-selling author Gibbons and talk show host Rivera were tasked with creating a 90-second commercial for Universal Resorts and selling 10 vacation packages for as much money as they could. Gibbons asked her pal Olivia Newton-John to help with the event and raised $324,000. Rivera made $146,000.

Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton has launched a week-long mental health awareness campaign with a video message for Place2Be, which helps kids with mental health issues.

Princess Kate is the Royal Patron of the campaign and has spoken out about the impact that things like bullying and domestic violence have on kids in order to shed some light on this important cause.

Taylor Swift made one fan's day by cutting her a check to help pay off her student loans. Over the holidays the pop star started sending fans unexpected gifts. At the start of the new year, she suprised Rebekah Bortnicker with a check in the amount of $1,989 -- a nod to the title of the singer's latest album, "1989."

Taylor Swift not only makes awesome music, she also gives back to her community -- in a big way. The singer has been named most charitable celebrity of the year for the third consecutive time.

Swift topped the DoSomething.org list in 2012, 2013 and 2014, in part for vowing to donate proceeds from her song "Welcome to New York" to NYC public schools. She also happens to be the Big Apple's new tourism ambassador.

Twain has partnered with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to bring public awareness to a very real problem.

Singers Shakira, Annie Lennox, will.i.am and Kylie Minogue made paintings that brought in $122,000 for charity.

The bi-annual Stars on Canvas sale, hosted on eBay, featured original artwork by more than 330 celebrities.

One of the most popular pieces was a painting by Eurythmics singer Lennox, which featured the lyrics to "Sweet Dreams" and sold for $4,700. Shakira's piece made $308.

Donny Osmond and filmmaker J.J. Abrams also participated in the auction.
