Finally, finally, finally! Things are beginning to look up as the music industry gears towards the always busy, profitable fourth quarter (September through December). After August has gotten off to a slow start, this week, numerous interesting titles drop. Rumor has it that Paul McCartney is secretly recording music with none other than Kanye West.

According to the New York Post's gossip column Page Six, the two have a number of songs that they've written and rehearsed together, and there's even the possibility of a full album, sources claim.

The idea of a collaboration isn't new for McCartney, who has previously said that he'd like to work with a high-profile rapper like Kanye or Jay-Z.

Gloria Estefan is getting her own musical next year on Broadway that will chronicle her journey from Cuba to Miami, Florida with husband Emilio Estefan, Jr., and her rise to pop stardom.

The stage production, titled "On Your Feet," will kick of at Chicago's Oriental Theatre in Illinois for its first five weeks before heading to the Great White Way in October.

The show will begin previews at the Marquis Theatre on October 5, according to Playbill.

Britney Spears has upset fans by allegedly using vocals by Australian singer Sia during a Las Vegas show. The pop star is currently in the middle of her two year "Britney: Piece of Me" residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

A fan recorded Spears singing a new version of her song "Perfume;" however, songwriter Sia's vocals are heard, not Spears'.

Beyonce Covers 'Bang Bang' For HBO's 'On The Run' Special
Beyonce chose an interesting song to promote her upcoming "On The Run" tour special on HBO. The pop star sings Nancy Sinatra's "Bang Bang" in the 50-second teaser for the show, which airs Sept. 20 and also stars her husband Jay Z.

The theme of the song, which was originally penned by Sonny Bono and performed by Cher, is abusive relationships.

Justin Timberlake and a crowd of concertgoers sang "Happy Birthday" to an 8-year-old boy during a recent gig in Tennessee. Julian Delan's parents took their son to the show. His father hoisted the bow-tie wearing Julian onto his shoulders, and the little boy shouted: "It's my birthday! This is my present! This is my present! I love you JT!"

Christina Aguilera is a mom for the second time after welcoming a baby girl on Saturday.

Christina gave birth to a sister for big brother Max, six, from her previous marriage to producer Jordan Bratman, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

The baby is her first with fiance Matt Rutler, who proposed to her this past Valentine's Day.

The Grammy winner was hard at work right up to the end of her pregnancy, just days ago tweeting a photo of herself in the recording studio with the caption, "Baby girl getting first listen to what mama's been creating in the studio."
