Hope Solo Apologizes For 'Highly Unfortunate Accident' Involving Domestic Dispute

Soccer star Hope Solo has opened up being arrested for domestic violence last weekend, telling fans she's sorry that she disappointed them.

Solo spent a night in jail on June 21 after her sister and 17-year-old nephew accused her of assaulting them. The sports star has plead not guilty and apologized for her actions on Facebook.

"I would like to apologize to my fans, teammates, coaches, marketing partners and the entire US Soccer and Seattle Reign FC communities for my involvement in a highly unfortunate incident this past weekend," she wrote on Thursday.

Shia LaBeouf was arrested for criminal trespass and misconduct while attending the Broadway show "Cabaret" in New York City on Thursday night. He interfered with the show, causing security guards to get involved. They were forced to call the police, and the actor was hauled out of the premises in handcuffs.

Labeouf yelled obscenities at the cops while they were arresting him, telling one, "I'll f*** you up" and calling another one of them a "f*g." Things got worse when Labeouf allegedly spat on an officer, leading them to put a muzzle on him, according to the New York Post.

Alec Baldwin was arrested in New York City Tuesday morning for riding his bicycle in the wrong lane down Fifth Avenue.

The actor was cited for going the wrong way on the street and then handcuffed and put in the back of a police cruiser shortly after when things escalated because he didn't have any identification.

"He was stopped by officers for riding the wrong way on a street," a NYPD officer told In Touch Weekly magazine. "When the officers asked for ID, he got belligerent because he had none on him," the source explains. "The officers placed him under arrest for disorderly conduct."

Paul Simon, half of American Folk Rock duo 'Simon and Garfunkel' has been arrested today in New Canaan, Connecticut on a charge of domestic violence, along with his wife, Edie Brickell. Details are few but, but we know both Simon and Brickell were taken in for some sort of domestic disturbance Saturday, April 26th, and the New Canaan Police department will be releasing a statement about the matter today at 11:30 AM ET.

Police have arrested "Scandal" star Columbus Short for his alleged involvement in a bar fight earlier this month.

A Claremont Police Department spokesperson told E! News that on Wednesday a judge in California issued a warrant for the actor's arrest on one count of felony aggravated battery. The actor shortly turned himself in to authorities.

According to TMZ.com, the actor, 31, reportedly punched a man in the head at Gabe's Bar and Grill in Los Angeles earlier this month.

George Lopez passed out on the floor of a Canadian casino and was arrested for public intoxication on Thursday.

Security guards called police to Caesars Windsor in Ontario, who arrested the actor/comedian inside one of the casino’s bars.

A spokesperson for the police department confirmed to People magazine that a male was taken into custody at 11:25 p.m. and was “released with no charges.”
