Luke Skywalker's Pants Go Under The Hammer

A pair of pants worn by Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars trilogy has pulled in $36,100 at auction.

Mark Hamill donned the sand-colored Levi's to play the iconic Jedi Knight in George Lucas' 1977 sci-fi classic Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope.

On Tuesday, Experts at Los Angeles auction house Nate D. Sanders had set a pre-sale estimate of $70,000-$100,000, but the distressed pants pulled in $36,100 when they went under the hammer.

There were 13 bids for Skywalker's trousers, according to AFP.

Vin Diesel wore sunglasses and looked tough at the "Fast & Furious 6" Los Angeles premiere in Universal City, Calif., on Tuesday.

In the film, a heist crew is forced to hide around the world in order to avoid being captured and killed. After they're offered pardons, they join together to help stop a dangerous criminal enterprise. Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez also star.

The film is Justin Lin's fourth time directing the series. Dwayne Johnson returns as Agent Luke Hobbs.

A watch worn by James Bond in 007 film Thunderball is expected to sell for up to $93,000 after it was discovered at a market in Britain.  

The long-lost luxury Breitling was sported by Sean Connery in the 1965 movie and doubled up as a Geiger counter helping him to trace missing nuclear bombs by measuring radioactivity.

The timepiece, bought for just $39  at the time of filming, vanished after the cameras stopped rolling and was considered lost forever, but it is now set to go up for auction after it was found at a sale of second-hand goods in Britain.

During the Cannes Film Festival over the weekend, Jennifer Lawrence and her "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" co-star Liam Hemsworth nearly caught on fire after a tray of candles fell on them at a party.

According to JustJared.com, the stars attended a bash in honor of the film, and a huge column holding a plate of lit candles toppled over and almost hit Lawrence on the head.
