Sony Pictures Confirms '23 Jump Street' Is In The Works

A second sequel to the 2012 hit movie adaptation of 80s Fox TV series "21 Jump Street" is officially in the works.

Following the success of the film's first sequel, "22 Jump Street," which was released on June 4, producers at Sony Pictures are banking on the success of another film in the series, which stars Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill as a pair of cops who are sent back to high school in uncercover roles.

The first film grossed over $200 million worldwide, while the sequel made an additional $319.6 million globally for the franchise.

Katie Holmes To Make Directing Debut With Adaptation Of Annie Weatherwax Novel 'All We Had'

Katie Holmes is set to make her directorial debut by adapting Annie Weatherwax's debut novel, "All We Had," which hit bookshelves in August, for the big screen.

The actress will also star in the film, as the single mom of a 13-year-old daughter who struggles to make ends meet.

Holmes recently scooped up the rights to the book, and "The Fault In Our Stars" screenwriter Josh Boone will provide the script. Jane Rosenthal, co-founder of Robert De Niro's Tribeca Productions, will co-produce the film with Holmes.
