Independent Artist Meresha Discusses Music, 'New Revolution,' An
Electropop artist Meresha started a “New Revolution” when she made the decision to move from her hometown of Warsaw, Poland to the United States in order to jumpstart her music career. The 18-year-old self-described alien-loving vegan singer, songwriter, musician, composer and producer recently teamed up with Miami-based director David Rousseau for the official video for her new single, “New Revolution.” I recently had the opportunity to speak with Meresha about her early beginnings and musical inspirations.

Can you talk about how you got your start in music?

When I was 12, I wrote a song...

Here are five newbies to check out!

Unbreakable marks Janet Jackson’s first album in a whopping seven years. Unbreakable interesting...

Drake And Future Take Top Honors

Drake And Future Take ‘What A Time To Be Alive’ To No. 1
Lana Del Rey could practically taste her second no. 1 album – that is until Drake and Future totally ‘killed her vibe’ with surprise mixtape, What A Time To Be Alive. Expectedly, the superstar hip-hop collaboration was too much for the moody, alt-pop singer to overcome. In other words, her Honeymoon in the ‘penthouse’ wasn’t meant to be. Okay, okay, enough puns!

Drake and Future took top honors on the Billboard 200, to the tune of 375,000 units – WOW! This doesn’t outpace Drake’s earlier no. 1 album If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late or the juggernaut that was The Weeknd’s Beauty Behin...

REO Speedwagon
It’s true! REO Speedwagon is hitting the road across the United States and is making a local stop at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester on October 20!

The band is known for their greatest hits, “Keep On Loving You” (one of my favorite REO songs), “Can’t Fight This Feeling” “Back On The Road Again” "Time For Me To Fly" "Take It On The Run" “Variety Tonight” “Shakin’ It Loose Tonight” “Riding The Storm Out” and many others. Their most successful album of the 80s was “Hi Infidelity."

I had the pleasure of speaking with Bruce Hall, and he told Starpulse all about it! But don’t expect a new...

Justin Bieber was candid about his relationship with Selena Gomez in the new issue of Complex Magazine, calling their union "a marriage, we were so in love!"

"We were so in love," the singer said to Complex Magazine for its new cover story.

"Nothing else mattered. We were all about each other. But when it's like that and you get your value from that, people will always disappoint you. Your girl or your dude, they're always going to disappoint you. Your full identity can't be in that person. My identity was in her. Her identity was in me," he explained.

Bieber was asked by the magazine wh...

How Good Is Drake And Future’s Collaboration 'What A Time To Be Alive'?

9/28/2015 11:30am EDT
Six Takeaways From Drake And Future’s ‘What A Time To Be Alive’
On Sunday, September 21, Drake and Future gave the music industry a gift – a collaborative mixtape. Two of the biggest triumphs in 2015 have come at the hands of Drake and Future. Future’s DS2 didn’t come anywhere close to Drake’s numbers with If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, but the rapper had the biggest debut of his career and scored his first number one album. Furthermore with their respective albums, the two MCs have had some staying power on the charts. This makes a collaborative mixtape something of a godsend, hence the gargantuan numbers.

Rather than your standard album...

Harry Styles Reveals 'Made In The A.M.' Favorite One Direction A
Harry Styles apparently wasn't as big a fan of One Direction's past four albums as he would have led you to believe.

The handsome and charismatic singer and one-fourth of the British boy band recently revealed in an interview with Capital FM that the band's latest release, "Made In The A.M." is his favorite so far.

Speaking to the radio station, Styles said the new collection connects with him and the rest of the band.

He revealed: "It’s definitely our favorite."

“It’s hard because you say it every time you have a new one. But we’re very proud of this one and I think we think it’s the b...
