8.) Wilhelmina Slater (Ugly Betty) - A nod to the bad girls of nighttime soaps of yesteryear who weren't afraid to get bitchy and do some dirty work all while wearing designer duds. Wilhelmina is constantly scheming, coming up with new devious plans to accomplish her nefarious desires. But behind all the scheming is a very big brain. After all, it takes a very smart person to come up with not one, but two back-up plans for how to take over Mode magazine. Whether she's manipulating Daniel and Alexis or blackmailing Betty, Vanessa Williams' Wilhelmina is a bad girl to delight in and Williams seems to be doing just that, delivering some of the tube's best dialogue - "Come on girl. I'm black, you're Mexican. Let's not talk around it like a couple of dull white people" - with bitchy zeal.
