5.) Roman Grant (Big Love) - As Roman Grant, the polygamist leader of the Juniper Creek compound, Harry Dean Stanton (best known to the teens as Molly Ringwald's dad in Pretty In Pink) makes life hell for Bill Paxton's character. Even once you get past the shady, backhanded business dealings and threats, there's plenty more things to be disturbed about on the home front. The guiding prophet, Roman wields his power over the compound, condemning others, including his own son, and acquiring an underage bride. It's no wonder Bill ran away from the place.
