5. FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH
The band might be just a generic crappy cover band, but the songs performed at Ridgemont High's last dance of the school year are far from typical songs teens of the 80s got down to. Despite those facts, the scene still elevates the movie's intensity. The dance is a scene of reconciliation for once best friends Damone and Mark Ratner, as well as a celebration for students from all social circles.

Ultimately the most amusing part is the band's cover of the song "Woolly Bully," which has the joint jumping. "Woolly Bully" brings the pot smoking surfer dude Jeff Spicoli (Sean Penn) up to the stage as backup vocals for the band, which surprisingly does not cause a ruckus among the band or the teachers.
