Zachary Quinto may have recently climbed to the spotlight with his portrayal of Spock in the new "Star Trek," but fans have known him for years as the devious and psychopathic villain Sylar on "Heroes." Sylar was the first villain on the show and remains one of the primary antagonists despite his brief turn for good. Sylar was raised a watchmaker, but he was certain his future was bigger and better. This led him to getting obsessed with the idea of super powers and being special. He meets Chandra Suresh and they begin experimenting on him to learn the source of his powers, although he keeps it quiet at first that he's murdering all the other heroes they find and stealing their powers. Sylar is a brainsucker; he gains the use of other powers by killing their users. You can argue that his villainous ways are tied to Elle Bishop and Noah Bennet, but his insanity was always waiting just under the surface.
Sylar is a cockroach, constantly coming back from the dead or surviving things no one else could, and considering his entire power is about killing others to grow more powerful ... he's certainly someone to fear for the heroes! Especially since he has the power of telekinesis, freezing, precognition, shapeshifting, electricity, and about a dozen more!
