Craig Ferguson
Some People don't know who Craig Ferguson is and that he hosts a late night talk show. But Letterman fans know who he is because The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson follows Letterman. And Ferguson has achieved fair ratings in that time slot. His show beat O'Brien's Late Night show many times. Ferguson's Scottish accent can be annoying at times, but his monologues and observational humor are funny. There's rumors that he may replace Letterman one day.

Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert
Both The Daily Show and The Colbert Report pose a threat to all late night talk shows. Both shows attract a younger audience unlike the rest. Some young viewers get their news and information from watching Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. With Leno gone, more young viewers may flock to these shows. The Colbert Report especially. It'll be interesting to see how both shows fair with Conan O'Brien as the new Tonight Show host. There's certainly no love lost between Conan, Stewart, and Colbert.

Chelsea Handler
Chelsea Handler has been hosting her show Chelsea Lately on the E! network for three seasons now. She is the second woman since Joan Rivers to host a late night talk show. Handler's show focuses on celebrities and gossip, while at the same time poking fun at socialites like Paris Hilton. Her show has done fairly well in its current time slot. If there's anyone that can rule late night, why not Chelsea.

George Lopez
George Lopez will be hosting his own late night show on TBS. The format of the show remains unclear. If the show is anything like Lopez's humor, then it will be a late night hit.
