Innocent little Britney Spears was seventeen when her first hit single "…Baby One More Time" was released. Everything went smoothly until the boobjob rumors, controversy over her 2000 VMA's outfit, and her public break-up with Justin Timberlake. Even then, Spears kept on trucking, eventually sporting trucker hats and barefeet in public restrooms. It seemed that after she met Kevin Federline, it all went downhill from there.

Britney Spears went from pop princess to desperately distressed. The once bubbly and friendly Spears became an angry and unstable mess. She shaved her head, beat up a SUV with an umbrella, and locked herself in her bathroom while emergency vehicles surrounded her house. Spears suffered from a mental breakdown and seemed to be a completely different person from the chipper and sweet young woman she once was. She seemed withdrawn, depressed, and psychotic.

Ultimately, Spears got the help she needed and turned her life back around. She is now on tour, in shape, and appears to be mentally stable.
