'Swimfan' (2002) - Again, beware the dangers of the one night stand. After 2000's 'Traffic' Erika Christensen was being hailed as one of Hollywood's up and coming leading ladies. Unfortunately her career stalled after this teenage horror flick. New girl in town Madison Bell (Christensen) starts crushing on big man on campus/swim team captain Ben Cronin (Jesse Bradford) but he already has a girlfriend and needs to keep his mind focused on swimming scholarships. Madison 's classy tactics include sending naked photos of herself and tying Ben's girlfriend to a motorized wheel chair headed for the deep end of a pool. Maybe if the movie had come out 2 years later during Michael Phelps initial domination of the Olympics, audiences might have actually cared about a swimming movie.
