Lisa 'Left-Eye' Lopes - In May 2007, VH1 aired a haunting VH1 documentary entitled "The Last Days of Left Eye," chronicling the weeks leading up to the TLC singer/rapper's fatal car crash in Honduras. Among many compelling moments, the filming captured an accident that killed a Honduran child (one of Lopes' entourage was driving). Shaken, Lopes pays for the funeral expenses and mentions that she can't shake the presence of a "spirit" following her. Chillingly, days later she herself would die (the sole fatality in a roll-over accident) ending an impassioned, and all-too-brief existence that included trouble with the law (she famously burned fiancé Andre Rison's mansion to the ground) and a publicized fall-out with her TLC band members. At the time of her death, Lopes was working on a solo album, 'Supernova'. Lopes about the track, "A New Star is Born": "That track is dedicated to all those that have loved ones that have passed away. It's saying that there is no such thing as death. We can call it transforming… 'Every atom that was once a star is now in you.'"
