Bruce Jenner ("Keeping Up With The Kardashians")
Former Olympic gold medalist (decathlon) Bruce Jenner has a family tree that's more like a family forest, and he's no stranger to reality shows. Since his athletic career he went on to have two kids, Burt & Casey, with first wife Chrystie Scott, whom he divorced in 1980. Next, he had two more after a quick spousal turnaround, this time marrying former Miss Tennessee Linda Thompson. Their marriage only lasted two years, but it was long enough to net two more kids in such a short span of time. Only Octomom had kids faster than that.
After they split, Linda moved on and married prolific music producer David Foster, who has produced music for such stars as Michael Jackson, Madonna, Chicago and Celine Dion, among countless other huge names. In 2005, the Fox network thought that a reality show about Foster constantly harping on his two lazy-ass stepsons to go out and get jobs would make for fine family entertainment, thus "The Princes of Malibu" was born (Fox was dead wrong and the show tanked). Of course, the two princes in the title are none other than Bruce's sons Brandon and Brody. (The show even featured Spencer Pratt, who would go on to star with Brody in The Hills and then hook up with costar Heidi Montag, resulting in the couple becoming the biggest attention whores on the planet.)
But the friendship between Brody & Spence turned sour, leaving Brody with the opportunity to create his own reality show, Bromance, where he chose a new best friend. The creepy title seems to imply a bit more though. You can use your own imagination on that one.
So after Bruce's second marriage he found love again in the form of Kris Kardashain, ex-wife of late O.J. Simpson defense attorney Robert Kardashian, and the couple had two kids together, Kendall & Kylie, to go along with Bruce's previous four and Kris' four kids, daughters Kourtney, Kim and Khloe; and son Robert Jr. And that's the way they all became the reality show bunch.
So Ryan Seacrest came calling and decided that he wanted to get on the "produce a reality show about a socialite or rock star family" bandwagon, and thus "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" was born. The show is centered around Kim mainly, as she's the biggest star in the family (figuratively, not literally, Chloe's actually the biggest), having had her own sex tape with former boyfriend Ray J, posing for Playboy, [failing on] Dancing With The Stars, and starring in formulaic Scary Movie-style spoof film number 367, Disaster Movie.
