Hugh Jackman Heading Back To The Tony Awards To Host For Fourth Time

Wolverine star Hugh Jackman announced on Tuesday that he'll be hosting the 2014 Tony Awards.

Jackman shared the news in a video posted to his Instagram page, telling fans that he "Couldn't wait another minute" to share the news that he'll be hosting this June's ceremony for the fourth time. He previously hosted the show in 2003, 2004 and 2005, winning an Emmy Award for the job he did in 2004.

The 68th Annual Tony Awards takes place on June 8, 2014, from New York City's Radio City Music Hall.

In a decidedly-positive Tony Awards, women and men who dress like them were the bells of the ball.

The collection of Broadway plays up for awards included several dramatic choices, but it was the lighthearted fare that ended up on top this year.

The feel-good musical "Kinky Boots" won six awards, the most of the nights. The haul included Best Musical in a slight upset over the darker "Matilda," as well as Best Original Score (which was done by Cyndi Lauper).
