Robert Downey Jr.
Forever the optimist, Roberty Downey Jr. believes he will eventually receive a Best Actor Academy Award.

The "Iron Man" and "Sherlock Holmes" star has already received two Oscar nominations for "Chaplin" (1992) and "Tropic Thunder" (2008).

Even though he lost out to Al Pacino and Heath Ledger, Downey Jr. believes his time will come. He told GQ magazine: "I know it's going to happen. That's just a fact. I, personally, would be shocked if we went to the end of the tape (my life) now and I didn't have at least one. Because it just doesn't make sense. That's why I don't mind showing up and wa...

March 12th, 2013 7:32pm EDT
Halle Berry
Actress Halle Berry raced to find a back-up Oscars dress just days before last month's Hollywood ceremony after learning the delivery of her custom-made Versace gown was delayed.

The Die Another Day beauty walked the red carpet in a long-sleeved silver-and-black outfit designed by Italian fashion queen Donatella Versace, but Berry admits she almost didn't get to wear the one-of-a-kind piece.

She tells TV host Jay Leno, "I had a conversation with Donatella Versace and told her that I really want to go to the Oscars as a Bond Girl, if a Bond Girl would go in 2013. So she came up with her ...

March 5th, 2013 9:44am EST
Jamie Lee Curtis
It's no surprise that Seth MacFarlane offended some viewers while hosting the Academy Awards last month. The "Family Guy" creator is known for his crass humor.

Just days after the Parents Television Council called on Oscar bosses to make sure MacFarlane doesn't host again, Jamie Lee Curtis came forward to express her distaste for the funnyman's performance.

In particular, Curtis was offended by the "We Saw Your Boobs" segment in which MacFarlane poked fun at past and present Best Actress Oscar winners for baring their breasts on film.

Curtis wrote on the Huffington Post: "As an Academy ...

Tina Fey Says 'No Way' To Hosting The Oscars

February 27th, 2013 1:03pm EST
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler
Don't expect Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to make the jump from the Golden Globes to the Academy Awards next year.

A day after Seth MacFarlane said there was no chance he would return to host the Oscars next year, Tina Fey has revealed to Huffington Post that she has no plans to run the show, either.

Asked if she would host the Oscars, she said, "No, you can. But I just feel like that gig is so hard. Especially for, like, a woman -- the amount of months that would be spent trying on dresses alone ... no way."

After being asked if there was even a "one in a million chance" she would host, she...

The Academy Award producers should start looking for a new host now, because Seth MacFarlane isn't coming back.

This morning, Seth was asked by a follower on Twitter: "Would you host the #Oscars again if asked?" The Family Guy creator replied, "No way. Lotta fun to have done it, though."

Sofia Vergara Illness
Seth MacFarlane wasn't far from the truth when he joked that some actresses got the flu and lost a few pounds to fit into their Oscar gowns. Modern Family star Sofia Vergara was bed-ridden with the virus and unable to attend the awards show.

The 40-year-old tweeted a funny, albeit unflattering, photo of herself waiting out the sickness in bed with the message, "Watching the Oscars at home so I dont give everyone the flu haha!"

The virus was bad enough that Vergara's sources had to deny rumors she was rushed to a hospital after an alleged turn for the worse.
