Vanessa Hudgens dazzled on the blue carpet at the Young Hollywood Awards Saturday evening, wearing a Bongo crop top and a pair of Badgley Mischka pants. Yep, those are pants.

During the first annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports Awards, David Beckham and his sons were slimed in gold. The soccer star received the first Legend Award at the event, held in Los Angeles on Thursday night.

Beckham's two youngest sons gave their dad his award following a video montage featuring the top moments of Beckham's career.

Michael Sam received the Arthur Ashe Courage Award last night at the ESPYs. The defensive end for the St. Louis Rams is the first openly gay man drafted by the NFL, and he gave an emotional speech as he talked about his passion for football and his responsibility as a gay athlete.

He talked about tennis player Ashe's motto, "Start where you are, use what you have and do what you can," and added, "Those were words to live by, whether you're white or black. Young or old. Straight or gay."

Transgender actress Laverne Cox made history on Thursday by becoming the first openly transgender person to earn an Emmy nomination.
