Worker Killed On Set Of Latest Martin Scorsese Film 'Silence'
One worker died and two others were injured when an old structure under renovation for Martin Scorsese’s next film, “Silence" collapsed.

Workers in Taiwan were fortifying the 83-year-old structure at the Chinese Culture and Movie Center ahead of production for Scorsese’s historical drama.

Taiwan's Central News Agency said Chen Yu-lung was killed and two other men were injured when scaffolding around a building being torn down suddenly collapsed. All three were Taiwanese contractors hired by the film's producers.

Emma Watson is set to star as Disney princess Belle in the upcoming live film adaptation of "Beauty and the Beast."

Before Disney shelled out $4 billion to George Lucas to buy his movie empire, the director says he was planning on making "Star Wars: Episode VII" himself.

Lucas had even begun working on treatment for the script, throwing some ideas together as to how the saga would continue 30 years after the events of "Return of the Jedi."

Simon Pegg is adding to his list of duties for the third installment of the popular "Star Trek' series of films. The actor, who portrayed Scotty in the last two installments, is set to add screenwriter to his resume for the long-awaited film.

According to Deadline, Pegg has been set to co-write "Star Trek 3" alongside Doug Jung ("Dark Blue", "Banshee".)

Avatar fans are going to have to wait until Christmas 2017 before returning to the planet Pandora for the first of the three sequels to the film, which are currently in production.

Director James Cameron told the Associated Press on Wednesday that he's pushing back the release dates for the three films by a year because the writing process for all three, which are being written simultaneously, is a process that's gotten "very involved."

Sylvester Stallone recently revealed that he's working on three new projects -- including another "Rambo" film.

The actor announced on Twitter that he started production on the "Rocky" spinoff "Creed" and following that he will work on "Rambo: Last Blood." After both of those projects are finished, he will film mobster bioipic "Scarpa."
