Scarlett Johansson Re-Teams With 'Iron Man' Stars In 'Chef'

Robert Downey, Jr. and Scarlett Johansson are teaming up with their "Iron Man 2" director Jon Favreau for an upcoming film.

"The Avengers" stars have joined the cast of "Chef," in which Favreau will play a top chef who hits the road with a food truck venture.

In order to prepare for the role, Favreau has reportedly been taking cooking lessons.

Johansson also stars in the upcoming "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and "The Avengers" sequel.

Arnold Schwarzenegger could be getting another acting gig, this time in a remake of a b-movie classic.

According to Variety, Arnold is in talks to star in a remake of the Troma classic Toxic Avenger, about a janitor weakling who falls into a vat of toxic waste and becomes a deformed superhuman.

Hot Tub Time Machine director Steve Pink is heading up the remake. It is currently rumored that Arnold will not star as the titular character. Al Pacino has pulled out of his voiceover role in Despicable Me 2, prompting the film's producers to scramble to get the film ready for its July 3 release.

Pacino, who replaced Javier Bardem as new villain Eduardo in the sequel to 2010's hit Universal Pictures/Illumination Entertainment production, left the production over a "last-minute creative difference," according to Deadline.com.

Tom Cruise will be reprising his role as secret agent Ethan Hunt in a fifth installment of "Mission: Impossible."The actor, 50, will star in and produce the film.

According to Deadline.com, Cruise is expected to reteam with filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie, who directed him in 2012's "Jack Reacher" and wrote the screenplay for his Nazi drama "Valkyrie."

The last installment, 2011's "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol," made more than $600 million internationally.

Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgard has denied reports he is set to star in a remake of cult classic The Crow.

Rumors began swirling earlier this week suggesting the True Blood star was in the mix for the lead role of Eric Draven, who returns from the dead to track down thugs who killed his fiancee, in a re-imagining of the 1994 thriller.

Speculation began after British actor Tom Hiddleston distanced himself from the part, clearing the path for Skarsgard who was reportedly interested in the movie, but he has since denied any involvement in the project.

The Mirror, Mirror star has been selected to play Elizabeth Bennet in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, an adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's book which adds flesh-eating monsters to Austen's period novel.

Downton Abbey star Lily James has been cast in the title role of Kenneth Branagh's upcoming take on the classic fairy tale "Cinderella."
