'The Vampire Diaries' Is Back!

'The Vampire Diaries' Recap: 'I Never Could Love Like That' - Wh
After quite a long hiatus, The Vampire Diaries returned last night. The episode also mark the reappearance of Matt and Tyler, who have been noticeably absence since Liz's funeral. Their return wasn't completely greeted with joy, especially from their ex.

Meanwhile, on The Vampire Diaries, we looked into Enzo's past. Apparently, Lily Salvatore sired him, a fact that complicates his bromance with Damon. Damon and Lily's relationship also took a turn for the worst when she expressed how little she loves her sons.

Don't Say You Love Me, You Don't Even Know Me

Lily and Damon go on a quest t...

Recap: 'Supernatural' Gears Up For Finale

April 16th, 2015 10:55am EDT
Supernatural
There are a three surefire ways to tell that “Supernatural” is gearing up for an epically devastating season finale. First, Sam and Dean Winchester are hopeful, happy and/or make plans for the future. Second, the characters find their voices and reveal their truths. Finally, there seems to be a promising break in the season’s overarching affliction. “Book Of The Damned” checked each one of these boxes with an suspenseful, emotional installment that already has me mentally preparing myself for a gutting season finale.

Grab your sarong or speedo and let’s dive in, shall we?

Last Night's 'Arrow' Was Everything A Fan Could Have Wanted

April 16th, 2015 10:16am EDT
'Arrow' Recap: 10 Bone-Crunching Moments From 'Broken Arrow'
If at any point this season, you've felt "Arrow" wasn't quite on its usual game (maybe a little slow, maybe a little unfocused), "Broken Arrow" was everything an "Arrow" fan could have wanted.

This was a devastating, incredible, ridiculously kick-ass return to form. "Broken Arrow" had metahumans. "Broken Arrow" had two of the best fight sequences "Arrow" has ever done. "Broken Arrow" had like, half the cast getting stabbed out of nowhere.

And "Broken Arrow" said goodbye to an old "Arrow" favorite. Sad stuff. All of which we'll get to in this week's countdown.

10. HOLY CRAP LASER VISION

'The Flash' All Star Team Up Doesn’t Disappoint

April 15th, 2015 9:57am EDT
'The Flash' Recap: 'All Star Team Up' Is Another Classic CW Cros
No lie- we've been eagerly anticipating this "The Flash"/"Arrow" team-up ever since it was announced (and ever since the "Flash vs Arrow" blew doors down last December). And just like every episode of "The Flash," ever (this is an extremely consistently written show), it didn't disappoint.

"All Star Team Up" wasn't a full-on crossover- Ray and Felicity were our only two imports last night (although previews tell us that Laurel and Cisco will meet and Barry/Oliver will be a team once more before the season's over).

But the Ray/Felicity-only thing was in "The Flash's" best interest. As Feli...

Nina Dobrev Announces 'Vampire Diaries' Exit, Surprise Shocks Fa
Nina Dobrev will leave the long-running CW series"The Vampire Diaries" at the end of this season.

The actress, who plays Elena, made the surprising announcement Monday on Instagram.

She revealed on the social media site that she spent the weekend at Lake Lanier in Georgia with the cast and crew of "The Vampire Diaries" and continued, "I want to be the first to tell you that it wasn't just a holiday celebration, it was a goodbye party."

"I always knew I wanted Elena's story to be a six-season adventure, and within those six years I got the journey of a lifetime."

The actress then spoke o...

'Arrow' Had Some Unexpected Shocking Moments

'Arrow' Recap: 10 Shocking Moments From 'Public Enemy'
Well, that was unexpected. Seriously, that (can we say it? This is probably too high up on the page to say- we'll save the spoilers for a little lower) move that "Arrow" just pulled with "Public Enemy" is something most shows do in their final season. Maaaaybe the finale before the last season.

But "Arrow" pulled this move (the coast looks clear, so... telling the entire world Oliver Queen is the Arrow) midway through the third season. It's a gutsy move. And, perhaps with a lot of elbow grease and suspension of disbelief, something that can be undone, if Roy really commits to taking the fa...

Mark Hamill Is Impressive In 'The Flash'

'The Flash' Recap: Mark Hamill Is Absolutely Terrifying
"There's a twist with Harrison Wells and the Reverse-Flash storyline that no journalist has guessed -- I've never seen it online. It's going to I think really surprise everyone. And it's an original twist to the character that doesn't mess up the mythology."

That's what Grant Gustin teased earlier this month (to ComicBook.com), adding that the twist in question had also never been done in the comics.

Pretty sure we just saw what Gustin was talking about. And it is a gigantic game-changer for "The Flash."

We might not have been the hugest fans of Harrison Wells/Eobard Thawne/The Reverse-F...

'Arrow' Recap: 'Suicidal Tendencies' Ends In A Cliffhanger

'Arrow' Recap: 10 Wedding-Worthy Moments From 'Suicidal Tendenci
You know, for an episode about Diggle ("Suicidal Tendencies" was about Diggle, wasn't it?), there wasn't too much Diggle in last night's episode of "Arrow."

Sure, "Suicidal Tendencies" was loaded down with the coolness -- the Arrow fought the Atom, people died, and Olicity was destroyed forever... or at least for at least a few episodes, anyway.

But Diggle and Lyla's honeymoon in war-torn Kasnia was the weakest chunk of the episode by far (oooh, that senator guy was really evil. Greeat) while the sidestories got all the coolest bits.

At least the cool bits were as awesome as they were la...

'The Flash' Recap: 'Rogue Time'

'The Flash' Recap: 'Rogue Time' Plays It Too Safe With Time Trav
Coming off of last week's "Out of Time," there was no way this week's "Rogue Time" could compare. Sorry, "Rogue Time." Last week's hour was about smashing "The Flash's" established rules to tiny little fragments. This week's hour is about retconning them all back into place. It was a losing battle from the start.

Also, it doesn't help that all the retcons seemed so... easy.

Example: Dr. Wells advises Barry not to fiddle with time travel and to play out his day exactly as he did before. Barry takes that advice into consideration, then starts screwing with the time stream like a minute lat...
