Q&A: "Hatchet III" Star Zach Galligan Celebrates His Career With Us

June 14th, 2013 3:30pm EDT
Zach Galligan
For those of us who grew up in the 80’s, the name Zach Galligan is a recognizable one.  Having made a big splash in films like "Gremlins" and "Waxwork," Galligan was the quintessential leading man – good looking, charismatic and truly talented.  Along the way he also made memorable turns in shows like "Star Trek: Voyager" and "Law & Order Criminal Intent" (going toe-to-toe with Vincent D’Onofrio no less!), but ultimately turned teacher helming acting classes affiliated with Tisch School of the Arts at NYU.  His most recent role sees the actor once again taking on the horror genre, this time...

Steve Byrne Reopens The Bar For Second Season Of 'Sullivan & Son'

June 13th, 2013 12:05pm EDT
Steve Byrne
TBS's Sullivan & Son has become a comfortable place to visit for TV audiences on Thursday nights. It's familiar enough for audiences to grasp, is willing to push the envelope enough to feel fresh, and the cast have bent over backwards to make it feel like a real hangout. As the bar comedy serves up its second season, BFTV reconnected with star-producer Steve Byrne between stand-up comedy gigs to ask him how his charming idea for a TV show emerged into the good time it is today.

"I think what makes any show successful is any time it has its own voice and it doesn't sound like anything else,...

June 13th, 2013 10:12am EDT
Hell's Kitchen
The men keep falling on Hell's Kitchen. Last week, the cooking competition said goodbye to 27-year-old line chef Anthony Rodriguez, despite his best efforts to hold the guys' Blue Team together. Anthony joined BFTV earlier this week to discuss what went wrong, what he learned, and where he's at now that he's out of the fire.

The New Orleans native echoed earlier comments by his teammates that the Blue Team wasn't always functioning as a team. "Our communication just wasn't there. When we were in sync, we were amazing, but we lacked that constant leading voice in the kitchen to pull us all ...

Wedding Band
Harold Perrineau deserves an Emmy Award nomination for his work on Sons of Anarchy. And if he should win - after having one of the best individual years for an actor - TV fans will be saying, "It's about damn time."

He's been "that guy" for a decade and a half, beginning when he played Augustus Hill on HBO's groundbreaking prison drama Oz. Since then, every time you see his name in the credits, it's like getting a visit from an old friend. You know that he's always going to give a watchable performance, whether it's his SAG Award-winning role as Michael Dawson on Lost, his pitch-perfect co...

Mayim Bialik's Theory on How Superman Shaves (Sponsored)

June 12th, 2013 11:20am EDT
Mayim Bialik
Superman/Clark Kent looks a bit different than you might expect in the upcoming Man of Steel movie. In many of the trailers – and there have been a lot of them – you’ll notice that Clark Kent is sporting a beard in many clips.

But if he’s truly a Man of Steel—how does he shave?

Gillette wondered the same things and launched HowDoesHeShave.com to post theories from ordinary people and some of the best authorities on the planet, including comic-book extraordinaire Kevin Smith, as well as PhD holder and Amy on The Big Bang Theory, Mayim Bialik.

I recently spoke with Bialik to discuss her th...

Alejandro Chabán
Alejandro Chabán is a prime example of success. Sure, Chabán has graced the cover of Men’s Health magazine and was named one of People in Español’s 50 Most Beautiful, but the actor is also extremely passionate about his latest project, the Yes You Can!™ Diet Plan. I recently had the opportunity to speak with Chabán at the HealthCorps’ 7th Annual Gala, the “Grassroots Garden Gala,” in New York City.

Chabán became discontent with his weight once he reached 314 pounds. As a result, he worked to drop the weight through diet and exercise. This year, he launched the Yes You Can! Diet Plan, the “...

June 11th, 2013 5:39pm EDT
Max Martini
Max Martini’s characters are synonymous with the military.  He played Mack Gerhardt on CBS hit show, The Unit.  He was Corporal Henderson in Saving Private Ryan.  He co-stars again with Tom Hanks as a SEAL commander in Captain Phillips to be release on October 11, 2013.

His heart and actions are with the troops.  So much so that he was compelled to write Will Gardner, a film about the plague of a homeless veteran suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) to bring awareness.

What inspired you to write Will Gardner?

While shooting The Unit, I went to the Middle East twice to see the tr...
