TV's most entertaining cop drama is back! ABC starts airing the fourth season of Rookie Blue tonight, picking up not far from where it left the characters of 15 Division last summer. BFTV caught up with series star Missy Peregrym, who plays Officer Andy McNally, to ask how Andy has been since viewers saw her departing for an undercover operation, and if there's hope that Andy might get back together with ex-flame Sam Swarek.
When the audience reconnects with Andy in tonight's episode, "I think she feels pretty good about where she's at in her life," Missy told us. "She's been undercover fo...

Nothing says talented like a show business journeyman and for busy actor/producer/director Fisher Stevens it’s all in a days work. On the acting front Stevens has created a ton of past memorable work in films like "My Science Project," "Short Circuit" and "Hackers." His producing work on important documentaries has not only made a social and environmental impact, but in the case of "The Cove" garnered Academy Awards as well. And on the directing front its full steam ahead as his latest effort, the Christopher Walken/Al Pacino/Alan Arkin starring flick titled "Stand Up Guys," hits DVD/Blu...

Mario Batali is back in the BFTV kitchen! The celebrity chef and co-host of ABC's daytime series The Chew rejoined us recently to impart more culinary wisdom. He's helping Hellmann's celebrate their 100th anniversary by making over some of the brand's most classic recipes, one of which he prepared for us.
Aspiring cooks can also visit Facebook to enter the "Create A Recipe with Mario" contest, where they can try mixing up one of Mario's dishes themselves - and one lucky winner will earn a trip to New York City.
While he was stopping by, Mario (pictured above with his Chew co-host and fell...

Blake Shelton has his dream team on The Voice this season: a final three loaded completely with country artists. BFTV recently caught up with one of those artists, Baylor marching band star Holly Tucker, to get to know her better.
"I always expected big things because I've seen the show on TV and it just looks larger than life," Holly said of her Voice experience so far. "That's exactly what I got and more."
Speaking of big things, America has watched Holly blow the doors off the Voice studio with her powerful performances of LeAnn Rimes' "How Do I Live" and Martina McBride's "Broken Wing...

Lifetime's Army Wives has added plenty of new characters recently, and one of them is Caroline Hall, the daughter of Sergeant Eddie Hall, who doesn't get along with stepmom Maggie. Caroline is played by actress Ella Wahlestedt, who joined BFTV recently to talk about coming onto the show in its seventh season and what ambitions she has for the rest of her career.
"There's a lot of drama!" she said of the remaining episodes of Army Wives this season, though she couldn't tell us specifics about what or who's involved. There are three installments left in season seven, which has already involv...

After having given us the infectious electronic-pop hits "Fireflies" and "Good Time," Owl City - or as his parents would call him, Adam Young - is lending his quirky musical ability to one of America's favorite snack foods, Oreo cookies. Adam has teamed up with Oreo to provide the voice for their new "Wonderfilled" ad campaign. You can watch the new national TV spot featuring Owl City here, or simply listen to - and download! - the song here.

As Nikita wraps up its third season (and prepares for its final run sometime next year), it's time to meet a talented actress who was with the show at the beginning. Eliana Jones played the young Alexandra Udinov, and went on to be one of the players in Netflix's horror series Hemlock Grove. BFTV recently chatted with Eliana to find out more about both roles - and also more about this up-and-coming young actress.
The Canadian native came to acting after spending six years as a gymnast, when her mother took her to an acting class. "I went and I decided this would be really interesting and I...

Joe Mantegna is one of the great actors in show business. Whatever the medium or the genre, he always delivers an outstanding performance. On television, he's best known as Special Agent David Rossi on CBS's long-running procedural Criminal Minds. Mantegna joined BFTV yesterday to discuss next week's double-length Criminal Minds season finale and what it's been like for him to bring Rossi to life for the last six years.
"It's a two hour episode," the actor said of Wednesday's final installment. "It's like a little movie in a way. We're able to pull out all stops and devote our energy, our ...

For anyone who says that classic beauty cannot co-exist alongside superior acting chops hasn’t seen the work of Jess Weixler. A trained Juilliard graduate, Weixler has made a serious splash with her ample ability to create layered performances that linger. Her early role in the controversial film "Teeth" won her a Sundance Special Jury Prize, while her film "Peter and Vandy" showed the emotional range usually reserved for season vets of the craft – and that was just the beginning. Her latest film titled "Free Samples" (On Demand May 21 and in theatres May 31 from Film Harvest) is by far ...

Chris Richardson may have come to national attention thanks to American Idol, but there's a lot more to the singer-songwriter than just a fifth-place finish on a reality TV show. He recently sat down with BFTV to share the complete picture of who he is and talk about establishing a music career after being in the television spotlight.
"I feel like I've gotten past that show, and [I'm] being introduced as Chris Richardson, and not so much as Chris Richardson from American Idol," reflected the Virginia native, who released the single "Joy and Pain" in August of 2012. Asked if he was concerne...
