Do The American Music Awards Foreshadow Potential Grammy Nominee
The AMAs are truly a popularity contest. The music fans select winners, which is a stark difference from the more prestigious Grammys. Often a gripe of music fans and critics alike are the sometimes odd, ‘out of touch’ choices by the Recording Academy. One that comes to mind is how Macklemore & Ryan Lewis cleaned up the rap categories, yet arguably the more transcendent artist, Kendrick Lamar, when home empty handed.

Ariana Grande Responds To Bette Midler's Diss
Earlier this week Bette Midler criticized Ariana Grande for relying on her sex appeal to sell music, and the young star has finally responded to the criticism.

Midler slammed the starlet in a British newspaper article published on Monday, stating it's "always surprising" to see someone like Grande "slithering around on a couch looking so ridiculous."

Midler added, "I mean, it's silly beyond belief and I don't know who is telling her to do it. I wish they'd stop. But it's not my business, I'm not her mother. Or her manager. Maybe they tell them that's what you've got to do. Sex sells. Sex...

The singer, who was touted as the "Madonna of Albania" by the New York Daily News, channeled Rose McGowan's 1998 MTV Video Music Awards look, wearing a fully see-through fishnet dress over just a thong and a pair of pasties covering her nipples.

"They aren't leaving their apartment," she tells Us Weekly. "They don't even want to come out today.

The singer, whose Shahla Dorriz "haute couture dress" had to literally be...

Zendaya was a hot mess on the red carpet at the American Music Awards on Sunday night.

The "Shake It Up!" star arrived to the big show wearing a light green bikini top with gold palazzo trousers and a matching gold trenchcoat draped over her shoulders.

The pretty 18-year-old's long dark curls finished the Aaliyah-inspired look, but not everyone cared for it -- London's Mail Online likened her to a cross between Disney's Princess Jasmine and Cher, dressed in Lady Gaga's wardrobe.

Speaking of Aaliyah, Zendaya was originally cast by Lifetime to play the late R&B singer in an upcoming biopic...
