Three members of heavy rock band Mastodon landed blink-and-you-missed-it cameos as wildlings who are killed and resurrected as zombies in Sunday night's episode of Game of Thrones.

Review: A$AP Rocky Expands His Game On 'At.Long.Last.A$AP'
In 2013, A$AP Rocky burst on the scene with proper debut album LONG. LIVE. A$AP, scoring a number one album. Throughout Long Live, the MC rapped about gold teeth, getting “Wild For The Night,” and of course his “problems” with a little assistance from 2 Chainz, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar. Although sophomore album At.Long.Last.A$AP has some similar themes, from the start, it’s obvious the MC seeks to expand as a rapper. For the most part, Rocky’s experiments and efforts work.

On opener “Holy Ghost,” one of many songs featuring Joe Fox A$AP Rocky is quick to unveil his anti-religious stat...

Carrie Underwood
Carrie Underwood notched her seventeenth Billboard Music Award this month with her song, “Something In The Water,” taking home the honors of ‘Best Christian Song.’ Despite criticisms of her Christian lyrical-nature, Underwood won’t give in to those spreading hate.

“I’m not the first person to sing about God, Jesus, faith [or] any of that, and I won’t be the last. And it won’t be the last for me, either,” she told Glamour Magazine back in 2012.

Underwood is just one of many artists that aren’t afraid to speak out in support of their faith or put it into a song, and some of the musicians on...

Martina McBride Slams Country Radio

May 29th, 2015 8:04am EDT
Martina McBride Slammed With Sexist Remarks: Her Response? 'Wow.
Never refer to Martina McBride (or any female country music star, for that matter) as a "tomato." Or assert that "if you want to make ratings in country radio, take females out."

That's what a recent issue of Country Aircheck did, and now they're paying the price: scathing criticisms from nearly every female country singer out there (and men, too).

In a rebuttal on Facebook, McBride fought back against Country Aircheck's suggestions. "Wow.....just wow. Just read this from a major country radio publication. How do you feel about this statement?"

And as for the claim that women don't liste...

Sawyer Fredericks After 'The Voice': What's Next For The Winner
Congratulations, you've just won The what? That's the question in front of teenage folk singing phenom Sawyer Fredericks, who took home the title for Team Pharrell last week and now has a whole (hopefully long) career in front of him.

Sawyer took time out of his increasingly busy schedule to chat with us last week about his reaction to winning and what we should expect to hear from him in the future. But firstly, has what just happened even sunk in yet?

"I don't think it fully has," he laughed. "I think once I have a little bit of downtime, it will."

Although his fellow final...

Billboard Gets Some New Fresh Faces

Twenty One Pilots
It’s a good year to be Twenty One Pilots – more specifically a good charting week! The alternative duo’s second album for a major label, Blurryface takes the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 this week, to the tune of 147,000 units. Nearly 92% of those 146,000 units are pure sales, formerly the means that the Billboard 200 was constructed. Blurryface easily surpasses Twenty One Pilots’ previous effort, Vessel, which has expanded it sales recently, but still hasn’t sold enough to achieve a certification by the RIAA.

Twenty One Pilots weren’t the only newbies to the chart this week. Zedd ar...
