14 Shows We Wish Were Still On Air
Admit it, both network and cable television just isn't what it used to be. Weekly series' have been for the most part, replaced for 12-episode arcs, reality television and non-interesting docudramas that do nothing to enhance the television landscape. Where's the friendship? The fun? The drama? The suspense? It makes viewers long for the days of when you looked forward to watching your favorite show every week and dissected it with your pals the next day and for days after. Some of the best are long gone, but fans still clamor for just one more episode. How many of these shows were you addi...

April 20th, 2014 5:05pm EDT
Da Vinci's Demons
Well, Da Vinci's Demons 2.5 moved from the celestial mathematics of last week's episode to about as mundane as you can get for science as the solution to Da Vinci's life-and-death problems. On the verge of being killed by his Maya-like captors in the New World, his life dependent upon his choice of the right instrument, Da Vinci's satisfies his captors with his selection of tools to sow corn. Unknown in Europe at this time, corn would have been the last thing that any European in the New World would have thought of at this time - anyone, that is, other than Da Vinci, who took note of the...

Arrow
The best scene of the episode happens in the medical cell at the Starling City Penitentiary, where Quentin’s healing from an assault by one of the many criminals he and the Arrow put behind bars. Quentin’s in jail because he helped the Arrow and wouldn’t give the police information about him. Laurel visits her father, bothered and upset by Slade’s truth bomb in the last episode about Oliver’s after-work activity. Quentin’s freedom depends on him offering any useful information about the man under the hood. Laurel approaches her father with the information that’ll free him from the cell, fre...

For some inexplicable reason, the teen stars of the 1980's always stand out as a stellar group of actors, actresses and musicians who have continued to stand the test of time with their talents and abilities in their respective genres. While several are no longer with us, those that remain are still relevant in today's entertainment world and continue to do wonderful work. Call it retro, but taking a look back at some of the greatest teen stars of the 80s is as cool as scrunchies, acid wash jeans and neon t-shirts. So grab your can of Tab cola (yes they still make it!) and let's go way back...

Travis Winfrey Talks Up VH1's 'Single Ladies'
VH1's Single Ladies is heading toward the end of its third season, with just three episodes to go. BFTV recently spoke with Travis Winfrey, who stars as Omar Kearse on the drama series, to see what we could find out about what's ahead and chat about his first leading role.

While Travis couldn't say much about the remainder of the season, he did give us one very ominous hint. "Death," he told us. "Somebody has death coming to them."

At least making the show is not quite so serious. "It's been a blast," he enthused. "They're pretty open. I get a chance to put my input into the character a l...

Helix
With snow still on the ground, at least a little more coming, and the bone chilling cold continuing, what better time to watch a new episode - 1.4 - of Helix?   Except tonight, the chilling lessons in all areas are inside the lab facility, where find that

Sarah is suffering from a tumor, not the mysterious illness, which was likely - that she was not a victim of what was getting Peter and the others - because her symptoms were very different.  I'm thinking her tumor might at some point provide some DNA which could counter the single strand of DNA that is causing all the havoc.
