E! News reported that "NBC's Must-See TV: An All-Star Tribute to James Burrows" will highlight some of the career achievements of the legendary director, who recently directed his 1,000th episode of TV.

CBS has pulled the plug on the Maggie Lawson and Jane Lynch comedy series Angel From Hell and removed it from the schedule effective immediately, per a report from Deadline Hollywood.

Angel From Hell starred Lawson (Psych) as Allison, a woman who forms an unlikely friendship with the eccentric Amy, played by Lynch (Glee, Hollywood Game Night), after Amy claims to be Allison's guardian angel.

Abe Vigoda Dead: 'Godfather' And 'Barney Miller' Star Was 94
Actor Abe Vigoda, best known for his roles in "The Godfather" and "Barney Miller" has died. The actor was 94 years old.

Vigoda, according to his daughter Carol Vigoda Fuchs, told the Associated Press via Entertainment Tonight that her father died in his sleep of natural causes.

"This man was never sick," Fuchs said.

Vigoda was best known for his role as the wisecracking detective Fish in the long-running television series "Barney Miller."

The character was so popular that he had a spinoff show called "Fish," which aired from 1977 to1978.

'Friends' Reunion To Happen For Real In February
The television world is abuzz with the impending "Friends" reunion planned for a special honoring the series director James Burrows, but which of "Friend" won't be able to make it to the party?

E! News reported that Matthew Perry will not appear alongside Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc.

Perry will be in London rehearsing for his play, "The End of Longing," which begins previews on Tuesday, Feb. 2.
