Ed Sheeran Joins Kurt Sutter Series 'The Bastard Executioner'
Ed Sheeran just scored a winning role in FX's new drama series, "The Bastard Executioner."

The "Thinking Out Loud" singer has been confirmed to star in the series by Entertainment Weekly.

Sheeran has signed on to the gory medieval drama’s debut season in a recurring role.

"The Bastard Executioner" is the newest outing from "Sons of Anarchy" creator Kurt Sutter.

The story follows a 14th-century knight (Stephen Moyer) who becomes an executioner.

Corden, host of "The Late, Late Show" recreated the iconic 1989 tune with Abdul when she guested on his talk show.
