General Zod Demands Superman's Surrender In New 'Man Of Steel' Trailer

May 22nd, 2013 12:15pm EDT
Man of Steel
In the new Man of Steel trailer, Michael Shannon's General Zod has offered an ultimatum to Henry Cavill's Superman: Surrender or watch the people of Earth die.

Scientists find a repeating message from the alien and decode it as "You Are Not Alone." Zod's voice then booms over the trailer, "My name is General Zod. I have journeyed across an ocean of stars to reach you. Your world has sheltered one of my citizens. He will look like you, but he is not one of you."

"To those of you who know of his location, the fate of your planet rests in your hands. To Kal-El, I say this: Surrender within...

'The Wolverine' Fights His Demons In New Trailer

May 21st, 2013 1:07pm EDT
The Wolverine
The new full-length trailer for The Wolverine has just been released, giving us a better idea of Logan's journey to Japan.

Still haunted by the events X-Men: The Last Stand, in which Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) had to kill Jean Grey (that's her, played by Famke Janssen, in the beginning of the trailer) so she wouldn't be corrupted by her latent Phoenix powers, Logan is found by an assassin who explains her employer has an offer: Death.

As the trailer explains, Wolverine saved a man's life during World War 2 by throwing him into a well and covering him as an atomic blast ripped through the ...

New 'Anchorman 2' Trailer Is More Of The Same - And We Love It

May 20th, 2013 2:07pm EDT
Anchorman 2
The new teaser trailer for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is very similar to the other teasers released - and we don't mind one bit.

Ron Burgundy and the Channel 4 news team once again step in front of gleaming lights to sell you on the comedy sequel. "Jesus. MacArthur. Jay-Z. The great ones always return. And when they do, one thing is for sure: their hair will be perfect," intones the narrator.

"I've got liquor breath and I want to be your friend," offers Champ (David Koechner).

"I've got a new cologne. It's called Venom... it's pretty much 100% snake venom," says Fantana (Paul Ru...

'As I Lay Dying' Trailer: James Franco Attempts To Film The Un-Filmable

May 15th, 2013 3:37pm EDT
James Franco
The first trailer for James Franco's adaptation of William Faulkner's "As I Lay Dying" has arrived, and the swirling, punctuated scenes may explain why it has taken 80 years for someone to attempt to adapt the classic story.

Faulkner's story follows the death of Addie Bundren and her family's odyssey to honor her wish of burying her in the town of Jefferson, Mississippi. The difficulty in telling this story on screen is that Faulkner wrote it through the view of 15 different characters over 59 chapters, using his "stream of consciousness" technique: each character appears to be jotting dow...

May 13th, 2013 6:07pm EDT
Man of Steel
Superman has enemies surrounding him in the new Man of Steel trailer, as he faces an Earth afraid of him and a threat from his home world of Krypton.

The fourth trailer for the Zack Snyder film, Superman (Henry Cavill) apparently faces the Earth's military in the desert, but the real threat comes later when Kryptonian General Zod (Michael Shannon) appears with the rest of his troops.

Kevin Costner, who plays Superman's adopted father Jonathan Kent, gives him a choice: "One day, you're going to have to make a choice - whether to stand proud in front of the human race, or not."

The movie...

May 8th, 2013 6:56pm EDT
The World's End
Barmageddon is coming as Simon Pegg and Nick Frost have reteamed with director Edgar Wright and producer Nira Park for the third film in the "Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy" (aka the "Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy), The World's End.

The first trailer for the film was released on Wednesday, promising the second hilarious-looking drinking buddy movie this summer.

The film takes place 20 years after five friends go on an "epic" pub crawl in their hometown that fell short of reaching the ultimate bar called "The World's End," and one of them, Gary King (Pegg), decides to get the guys together ...

Tom Hanks Is A Real Hero In 'Captain Phillips' Trailer

May 8th, 2013 3:43pm EDT
Tom Hanks
Heads up, Academy voters. Hollywood's very favorite good guy is bringing it again.

This time, Tom Hanks stars as a real American hero in Paul Greengrass' Captain Phillips, the gut-wrenching trailer for which is now in.

The film depicts the true story of Captain Richard Phillips, who was taken hostage by Somalian pirates in 2009 after they boarded and seized the U.S.-flagged and unarmed cargo ship Maersk Alabama. He'd surrendered himself to the vicious group in order to protect the nineteen crew members on board who were then able to hide from the ship's attackers. After a dramatic five da...

First 'Ender's Game' Trailer Puts Faith In The Next Generation

May 8th, 2013 1:07pm EDT
Ender's Game
What were you doing when you were 6 years old? In the new trailer for Ender's Game, Ender is saving the world.

Of course, in the film adaptation of the Orson Scott Card sci-fi classic, the kids are closer to 16 - we guess the production was gun-shy on the prospect of having a dramatic role in the hands of a group of 6 year-olds.

Instead, we have Asa Butterfield in the titular role (you may recognize him from Hugo), with Abigail Breslin and Hailee Steinfeld as his sister and classmate, respectively. All three of the young stars have been nominated for Academy Awards during their short care...

New 'Pacific Rim' Trailer Promises To 'Cancel The Apocalypse'

April 30th, 2013 12:07pm EDT
Pacific Rim
A full-length, action-packed trailer has been released for Pacific Rim... and it's everything you hoped it would be.

In the new trailer, we get to see tons of robot-on-giant monster fighting as well as extended looks at how Jaegers (that's the name of the giant robots) are piloted from the inside.

We also get more than a few lines from Charlie Day of Always Sunny in Philadelphia, although we admit it's hard to take the comedian seriously in a role as a technician.

There's also hints at the relationship between Charlie Hunnam's and Rinko Kikuchi's characters, who are pilots rushed into ...

Final, Explosive 'Fast & Furious 6' Trailer Revealed

April 29th, 2013 10:07pm EDT
Fast and the Furious
The last trailer for Fast & Furious 6 before its May 24 release date makes the latest installment in the series the series look like it's going to be the most action-packed.

Dwayne Johnson, who also stars in Pain & Gain, returns as Agent Luke Hobbs. After butting heads with Dominic (Vin Diesel)'s car gang in Fast Five, he enlists their help to join the side of law enforcement and take down another group of drivers.

It appears Dominic and the rest will have access to a bevy of equipment, including a Pontiac Superbird (with giant rear wing, naturally). To sweeten the pot, Agent Dobbs give...
