Review: Kevin Smith's 'Tusk' A Bold Experiment That Ultimately F
Mixing comedy with horror is nothing new. Some of the all time great genre classics have either successfully meshed the two aspects brilliantly or made it so one truly enhances the other. In the case of the new Kevin Smith outing titled ‘Tusk’, one would think knowing the past hilarity the filmmaker has so handsomely delivered that horror would only strengthen his movie credibility. But it’s the absence of neither a smooth pairing nor any singular subject boost that plagues an innovative film that that could have been a real winner – it’s a bold and original experiment that ultimately fa...

Star Wars Episode VII
J.J. Abrams' production company, Bad Robot, released a 36-second teaser for the upcoming "Star Wars: Episode VII" on Thursday, but it's not what you think.

The video is a single shot of Han Solo's spaceship the Millennium Falcon, and as the camera moves in along the cockpit-side of the ship, it stops on something that looks really familiar.

That something happens to be the Batmobile, aka "the Tumbler" from Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight" trilogy.

Abrams, of course, created the video as a response to director Zack Snyder, who is helming the next Batman film, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of ...

Interview: The Ford Brothers On Inhabiting India For 'The Dead 2
For a pair of indie filmmakers, brothers Jonathan and Howard J. Ford are certainly well travelled. Their first film titled "The Dead" saw the pair heading off to the barren lands of Africa as the setting for their inspired zombie flick. For their second go around on the much anticipated sequel "The Dead 2" (out now on DVD and Blu-ray from Anchor Bay Home Entertainment) the horror loving brothers found themselves smack dab in the middle of lush location ridden India telling another tale of the undead. The film involves an American turbine engineer who finds himself racing against time and...
