Transgender actor Chaz Bono has landed a role on the daytime drama "The Bold and the Beautiful." He will play a minister in episodes airing on March 31 and April 1.

The reality TV star and activist told People in a statement, "I'm very excited to have been cast. I'm grateful that they are willing to pay me to do something I love, which is to act."

Bono teased the news that he had something big on the horizon on Twitter on Wednesday.

She spoke of the big reveal after sharing a pic that had her 2.5 million Instagram followers in an uproar.

The pic showed Robertson and Blake after she caught a wedding bouquet at a pal's nuptials.

Last night, American Idol 2016 started the semifinals to get to the final 12 contestants. The Idol producers decided to split the contestants into two groups. Group one performed for the judges, Harry Connick Jr, Keith Urban, and Jennifer Lopez, on the Wednesday night prerecorded episode.

Tonight, these twelve contestants perform again, but with past Idol alumni. After their performances, the judges cut five performers. Next week on American Idol, the second group performs.

Chris Evans' new Top Gear will have six different people billed as hosts, after BBC America officially released the motoring show's new cast list in a press notice sent out late Wednesday night.

Joining Evans and Episodes star Matt LeBlanc, whose hiring was revealed last week, are the previously rumored Sabine Schmitz and Chris Harris, as well as Formula 1 commentator Eddie Jordan (second from right) and CNET presenter Rory Reid (first from left).
