In a new interview with Vogue magazine, Katy Perry discusses her broken marriage to Russell Brand and her on/again, off/again romance with John Mayer.

The July cover girl explains that she hasn't spoken to her ex-husband in over a year and a half. They wed in India in 2010.

Police: Justin Bieber Not To Blame For Alleged Hit-And-Run Involving Photographer

Justin Bieber is the latest celeb to reportedly hit a photographer with his car. Shortly before midnight on Monday night Bieber left the Laugh Factory club in his Ferrari when the incident occurred.

According to eyewitnesses, photographers swarmed the singer as he was driving away, and he pinned one of them to another vehicle. Police were called to the scene, but when they arrived Bieber had already left.

Movie star Channing Tatum is eyeing success on the small screen after signing a deal with Warner Bros. Television to executive produce a new scripted comedy.

The 21 Jump Street hunk has teamed up with screenwriter Nick Zano for the as-yet-untitled project, a half-hour, multi-camera show about a 30-year-old man as he tries to move out of his family home in New Jersey, only to realise he needs to stay to help raise his baby sister.

The plot is based on Zano's own life story being brought up in a house full of women, reports Deadline.com.

Dame Helen Mirren's hit West End play The Audience has broken theatre-to-cinema records after 110,000 fans checked out her latest performance as Queen Elizabeth II last week (13Jun13).

The live broadcast of the production, which was beamed to movie theatres in the U.K. and America, attracted the largest audience for National Theatre Live's four-year-old venture.

The success has prompted talk of more screenings of the Peter Morgan play, which won Mirren an Olivier Award in April (13).

Mirren also played the reigning monarch in Morgan's The Queen. She won an Oscar for her portrayal.

Nigella Lawson's husband has been officially cautioned for assault after pictures of him grabbing the TV chef by the neck hit headlines around the world.

The shocking snaps purportedly showed a visibly upset Lawson in the midst of a domestic dispute with advertising tycoon and art collector Charles Saatchi, who had his hand around her throat at an outside table at London restaurant Scott's.

James Franco wants fans to donate $500,000 for book adaptation

Actor James Franco is asking fans for $500,000 (£322,580) to help fund a trilogy of films based on his book Palo Alto.

The Pineapple Express star is using fundraising website Indiegogo.com to pull in the capital needed to make three films based on his 2010 collection of short stories about troubled teens.

He is offering a number of rewards in exchange for big contributions, including a role in one of the movies for someone who donates $5,000 (£3,225) and an executive producer credit and dinner with the Hollywood star himself for anyone who puts up $10,000 (£6,451).
